Testers ANNOUNCED Spornia SPG-7 Hitting Net

Recommended Posts

I’ve used nets on and off multiple times in the past 10 years.  I’ve often found that when buying a net that is affordable you have to make a trade off for those with a large hitting area to allow for safe swinging versus those with a lightweight design that is portable, so you can set it up wherever you need it and then store it away easily.  Been in the market so this is a great opportunity to test one out and provide feedback.

I use the PRGR Launch Monitor anytime I practice, Range or Net.

I have never owned a hitting net but have been highly considering one as the weather in Reno doesn’t allow for full-year play due to snow. A hitting net would allow me to consistently swing regardless of the year to ensure no off-season rust.

I don’t have a launch monitor so this net would mainly be used for finding and repeating swing feels. I feel like if i can keep it straight into the net and feeling good off the face, this net would be very helpful in the offseason.

Never used a personal hitting net, but have a large Astroturf mat to practice short game. No launch monitor unless you count the Swing Caddie 200 and various swing radars.

Would love the opportunity to give feedback on your product!!! As part of my workout warm-up, I hit golf balls every morning in my garage. Within the last 2 weeks my net has developed 2 large holes due to the amount of use. I also have 2 boys who are learning the game (11 & 9) that would love to be part of the trial/feedback.

I think the feedback from our situation would be a great benefit to your product! We would really love the opportunity!

Hey MGS I’ll make this really easy for you. I just got this net 4 weeks ago and have a rave review I can add.  So you don’t even need to send me one ,cuz it’s already here. One caution for reviewers:  It sets up almost instantly. Really. Takes longer to get it out of the handy storage pouch than to be ready for action. Take down takes longer. Wait till you try to fold it. Think origami. Seriously, takes a 10x setup time. Think Twister for 1. But there’s a video on Spornia site on how to do it. A younger female, maybe a teenager, who does it in under a minute.  Applause for the first tester who can duplicate her time.

Love the look of this practice net but unfortunately I live in the UK.

Trackman launch monitor used on the range but not at home.
I know I can't enter but I love the work you guys do over there at MyGolfSpy - Keep up the great work!

Cheers

Yes I have a golf room set up in my garage with a putting green and mats/net

I'm in the market right now to buy a launch monitor to pair with my current setup. Will purchase one within next month or so

Testers Wanted (4)

During these days that COVID-19 has restricted many things, one area that has thrived admist the shutdown and restricted activities this spring, were golf practice items. Yes, we're talking about practice, and so is Spornia. It's SPG-7 net has been in high demand since the spring. Oh and did we mention it finished 2nd earlier this year in the MGS Best Golf Practice Net's Buyer's Guide?

So pandemic aside, heading into winter where one of these would set up nicely and very quickly in a garage or backyard is the perfect time.  Spornia is going to let four of our readers test, review and keep a SPG-7 and report back to the community your thoughts

I have used a hitting net (different brand) and ended up selling it due to the difficulty in setting it up.  I do not have a launch monitor, that would make a big difference in getting feedback when using a hitting net.
