Testers ANNOUNCED Spornia SPG-7 Hitting Net

I have never used any sort of hitting net. Until last winter, I lived in the Phoenix area so was always able to hit balls outdoors pretty much year round. I toyed with t he idea of buying a net last year but never did and was excited to start playing golf in the spring. Well, COVID made sure that that didn't happen so I began researching nets again. WIth most of the ones I liked being backordered (the Spornia included), I gave up. Now, heading in to my second winter, I have had plans of building a hitting bay in my garage. This would definitely be a better option.

I would like to use a LM in the future but have not used one to date.

I just got my first hitting net, but I've been hoping to use one with an impact target versus just a net, that is more portable, and has more overhead security to avoid the possibility of accidental launches out of my yard.

My Rapsodo MLM is out for delivery right now!

During these days that COVID-19 has restricted many things, one area that has thrived admist the shutdown and restricted activities this spring, were golf practice items. Yes, we're talking about practice, and so is Spornia. It's SPG-7 net has been in high demand since the spring. Oh and did we mention it finished 2nd earlier this year in the MGS Best Golf Practice Net's Buyer's Guide?

So pandemic aside, heading into winter where one of these would set up nicely and very quickly in a garage or backyard is the perfect time.  Spornia is going to let four of our readers test, review and keep a SPG-7 and report back to the community your thoughts

I've recently bought a Callaway hitting net for both indoor/outdoor use and would be great to compare against.

I have been using the Shot Vision iOS app, however here's to hoping for a cool Christmas present. Not socks.

I have a decent ball speed, last at 178 with Driver, and would be able to test the limits of this net.

Appreciate you guys and all you do for the readers.

Yes, but not a home version.

I do not own a launch monitor.

being a legally blind golfer that used to play at a scratch level, now play to a 12, I am relegated to being driven everywhere. The ability to practice at home when no ride is available would be invaluable.

Great timing! Detroit, MI -  I have burned through 2 nets this year so would love to find one that stands up to full driver shots. I have a SkyTrak launch monitor that I use daily but have damaged my garage door when the nets give out and a ball sails through.

Being isolated in the Hi-Desert area, I use hitting nets a lot. I had a 10 x 7 setup in my garage, but recently rigged a curtain track with a net/target. Having three girls, I needed my space to be flexible, to where I can pull the net out in seconds, and put away just as fast. I’m currently on my third net system...I’ve put holes in my previous two through frequent use.

I use the Shot Vision App as a launch monitor. But I am looking to build an OptiShot 2 monitor at my next duty station.

All of the time.  I usually have one setup at my house.  Most recently replaced my Callaway net with a Rucket stye net.

I dot not use a launch monitor, but have been looking into one.

I got this unit this summer. I have it set up on my patio now but plan on moving inside when it gets cold.  It is terrific and works well with all clubs.  I understand they aha e a 5’ x 5’ unit coming.  That would be great for my basement area.
I highly recommend this net.  It is great.
I use a PRGR LM with it and it works pretty well with it.
