Testers Wanted (4)

During these days that COVID-19 has restricted many things, one area that has thrived admist the shutdown and restricted activities this spring, were golf practice items. Yes, we're talking about practice, and so is Spornia. It's SPG-7 net has been in high demand since the spring. Oh and did we mention it finished 2nd earlier this year in the MGS Best Golf Practice Net's Buyer's Guide?

So pandemic aside, heading into winter where one of these would set up nicely and very quickly in a garage or backyard is the perfect time.  Spornia is going to let four of our readers test, review and keep a SPG-7 and report back to the community your thoughts

I've hit into a variety of non portable net but with a LM. I just visited a friend that has a portable net setup in his garage. It motivated me to start looking at one for myself. I have a heated room with a high ceiling to use all winter.

Don't have a LM but this net would work nicely in my heated garage this long covid winter.

My spornia is on its way back from the states, should be here next week 😁 I've used multiple nets, izzo, etc. and really like durability of the hitting pad I got as a replacement for my izzo.

If you want a free review let me know!

Have access to Mevo+, and projector 😉

Gary from Kentucky.

I have a net (very heavy duty and no idea of the brand) that I got from a friend almost 30 years ago. It had been rolled up in my garage for several years. My college golfer son put it up under the deck so he could practice and when covid hit, we couldn’t go to the course. Boredom set since we couldn’t go anywhere and I started hitting balls every night. Odd irons one night, even the next. 80- 100 balls. Now I have been hitting several days a week and my handicap has been steadily declining. The only good thing about covid I have found. Now I am thinking of adding some kind of launch monitor to get more feedback. Still looking at those.

I have never owned/used a hitting net, though have been considering one as of late. Would like something fairly compact that sets up and breaks down easily, and this appears to fit the bill.

I do not own a launch monitor, but do have a friend with a hitting bay and launch monitor set up in his barn. I’m sure he would allow me to bring this net over and work out on it with his monitor.

I haven't used a hitting net, but I've been considering one because of shorter days.

I have a Mevo that a friend is planning on letting me borrow since he is unable to swing a golf club right now. I'm looking to use a net and LM in order to dial in yardages as i gear up for competition. Cheers.
