Testers ANNOUNCED Spornia SPG-7 Hitting Net

Recommended Posts

Rob / Ashville, Ohio

I used an IZZO Tri-Daddy once our COVID lockdown began in March.  After many rounds on the SkyTrak the IZZO developed several holes.  Golf balls were penetrating the net and flying around my garage.  I am looking forward to testing a different net.

I have used a hitting net but not impressed with the one I have now.

Have not used a launch monitor with it but will be getting the Rapsodo Mobile Launch Monitor soon so I am planning to be using that.

Testers Wanted (4)

During these days that COVID-19 has restricted many things, one area that has thrived admist the shutdown and restricted activities this spring, were golf practice items. Yes, we're talking about practice, and so is Spornia. It's SPG-7 net has been in high demand since the spring. Oh and did we mention it finished 2nd earlier this year in the MGS Best Golf Practice Net's Buyer's Guide?

So pandemic aside, heading into winter where one of these would set up nicely and very quickly in a garage or backyard is the perfect time.  Spornia is going to let four of our readers test, review and keep a SPG-7 and report back to the community your thoughts

Herbert/ Thornton, CO.

Just bought a net with mat to practice after small back surgery. It is literally on the way. I also bought a set of arccos sensors for every club. I have Cobra woods.

Was looking for another driver, Cobra is getting worn out.

Yes I currently use one that I bought off Amazon a while back (big and bulky that I have to drag out and set up and tear down every time I use it).

No LM at the moment.

I have used a hitting net, left it outside a few too many times and it got rusty and fell apart.

I don't have a launch monitor, but with a good net, I might have to get one.

I have used a net in the back yard years ago. It was not adaptable for indoor use. It broke down due to weather conditions.

I did not use the net with a launch monitor. They weren't popular and readily available at the time. The only launch monitors I have used are at an indoor facility nearby. I would love to have something like that at home.

I have used an outdoor net years ago. Weather took it's toll on it after a rough winter.

I did not have a launch monitor to use with the net. The only launch monitor available is at an indoor game facility near by.

I would love to have an indoor net to use during the winter.

I have never used a hitting net for golf, I have used a chipping net though.  With everything going on in today’s world it is hard to get practice, so having a hitting net would really help me to advance my game for next season.  Getting to hit on a daily basis versus the two to three times a week would be amazing.  It is a hard sell to get my fiancé to let me go to the range every night, but if the range is at the house, (i.e. hitting net), then there is no sell, and I may even be able to get her hooked.  Then we would be golfing nonstop.

I don’t have a launch monitor at this time, but I definitely would be getting one if I had a net.

I have used a fixed hitting net in the past.

I would be using a Trackman with this net.

I would be using this for both personal use and for use with the two college golf teams that I coach, so I would be a good test case for the durability of this net.
