Testers ANNOUNCED Spornia SPG-7 Hitting Net

I’m John in Clarkston, MI. I’d like to test the Spornia SPG-7 net this winter in my garage and write about it for MyGolfSpy.com!

I’ve used a Hitting Net during lessons and practice at my local GolfTec location, with their launch monitor. At home, I use a Zepp swing monitor, looking at the quality of my swing rather than distances and ball parameters.

Let's face it - for a lot of us winter and golf go together like pickles and ice cream... However, we've got 4 lucky golfers who are going to beat those winter blues and keep their games ni

Testers Wanted (4) During these days that COVID-19 has restricted many things, one area that has thrived admist the shutdown and restricted activities this spring, were golf practice items. Yes,

I want to say thank you to MyGolfSpy and the Mods for this review opportunity. Who would have thought a hitting net would be one of the hottest pieces of equipment in golf at the start of the year? Fr

Have You Ever Used a Hitting Net - Yes, I used to have a Golf Galaxy net ~ circa 2010 ~ in my living room.

Do you use any sort of LM with one - I have not used a launch monitor with one.

Thanks, Brandon

I have used two net systems in the past. A custom 10 X 10 cage and a Standard Metal Wing like football pylons net that was very hard to take down and would only last one season due to wear of the sun and weather. Looking for something I can do very safely in the garage which is very important practice in the winter.

I have never used a LM and would love to bring that tech into the home.

I especially want to get my 5 year old son Karsten hitting balls without dropping tons of money at the golf range on balls.

Thank You!

first off, hello again everyone! It’s been a longggg time since I’ve been around these parts, life unfortunately has a habit of getting in the way like that! Haha.

I’m popping back out of the woodwork due to the unique opportunity this test provides for myself and my dad. We are in the process of building an indoor area in his basement to hit balls during our Pennsylvania off-season and are heavily considering purchasing this net regardless of the testing opportunity.

That said, I feel I could provide a solid testing experience with both of our feedback on the net itself as well as a thorough breakdown of the other items/build process itself. Hopefully other members would find this useful.

We plan to pair this net with the Rapsodo launch monitor and currently have the Amazon basics net setup in our area that would be a great comparison for our feedback.

I appreciate the opportunity and look forward to hearing all testers feedback from those selected!

I have a narrow hitting net that has pipes in the ground that I slide the net pipes into. Then have to pull the cable tight and wrap the rope around a cleat. Takes around 10 minutes to set up and another 10 to take down. If the size is small enough and deployment is quick to set up and take down I could use this in my front room over the winter. If this is more of a permanent net design then I'll bow out and let someone else test this as well.

Do you use any sort of LM with one? No I do not. I want one though... does a Launch Monitor come with the net 🤣?

It's 90% Mental
