Testers ANNOUNCED Spornia SPG-7 Hitting Net

I never used a hitting mat before.  Either I went to the local driving range, the driving range at the course or just swung a club in the back yard to work out the kinks.

Using a lm is foreign to me on a personal level.  I've used them in hitting bays of dicks and other golf retailers just to see what I was doing.  But until I get a more consistent swing honestly in my opinion using one now really wouldn't help me.  Plus I go off of feel and visual result, seeing the numbers on a computer feels lie something is left out

I have used hitting nets, but only in Retail Stores. I’ve never owned one big enough for my backyard or for my garage in winter.

And likewise have only used LM in retail Stores, never owned one.

I have used a net in the past, we have one at work but it is more of a batting cage, much larger and longer than just a net. I do have a chipping net at home that I use regularly.

I have used a LM at an indoor facility, but I do not have access to one at home.

Thanks!

My name is Ray Reid,  I live in Lapeer, Michigan and I am very interested in testing a net inside and out.  The winters here get pretty cold and this would be a good chance to get involved. I have been looking for a good net to setup in garage and in basement. Ease of setup and Quality  is what I am interested in.  I have used a net before but haven't found the quality to be what I would expect. Senior golfer with probably have used Launch monitor indoors only.     Thanks for Opportunity

I've never used a practice net at home, though I have at indoor golf ranges.  My home practice has been limited to plastic, foam, and wiffle golf balls in the yard due to a presumed outcry and possible lynching by neighbors from wayward golf shots breaking their windows.

I would love to give SPG-7 a try, and you can bet an honest review would be forthcoming.

Bought this net this summer and really, really like it.

My neighbor comes out to stare at me over the hedge when she hears me hitting balls into it, she thinks I'm crazy.

Anxious to see how you testers perfect the method of folding it up - please shoot video

During these days that COVID-19 has restricted many things, one area that has thrived admist the shutdown and restricted activities this spring, were golf practice items. Yes, we're talking about practice, and so is Spornia. It's SPG-7 net has been in high demand since the spring. Oh and did we mention it finished 2nd earlier this year in the MGS Best Golf Practice Net's Buyer's Guide?

So pandemic aside, heading into winter where one of these would set up nicely and very quickly in a garage or backyard is the perfect time.  Spornia is going to let four of our readers test, review and keep a SPG-7 and report back to the community your thoughts

I have an old beat up net. Too many holes to repair, was planning on getting another, would love to test this one.

even in Birmingham Alabama it gets too cold to hit balls outside, plus short days

thanks

Exactly what I’ve been looking for!

My name is Chris from Portsmouth, NH.

This past season prior to the courses opening I tried to build my own hitting net using strong fishing line, sheet and clothes-pins, didn’t go great. Have used launch monitors in simulators before, but never with a hitting net experience.

Ola from Glen Cove, NY here!

I’ve used a hitting net before and a LM both on my phone and on a sim. My boyfriend and I are avid golfers and have really kicked it into gear all summer and luckily into 70 degree November. Any days that are too cold for golf, you can find us at the PGA superstore using the monitors/nets, and I think they’re getting tired of us already. It would be amazing to test out the SPG-7 net now that the season is coming to an end. We need to keep going with all of the hard work we’ve put in since March. I have a fairly extensive social media following and would love to review this product on my @dancingdmd tik tok and Instagram accounts.

I have never used a Hitting Net outside of sporting goods stores like Dick's. Due to COVID, I purchased a lawn mat with tee and a ton of different practice balls that I used during the last few months, but always wanted to purchase a good hitting net so as to avoid the necessity to keep chasing balls across my and my neighbor's yard. Besides, a good hitting net will let me use actual golf balls that could only enhance my practicing and game.

Since I have never used a hitting net, I also have never used a launch monitor . . . but would not be adverse to having one!

Thanks!!!

I have used a hitting net in my garage at the beginning of the pandemic. It was an inexpensive one and it broke.

I have been considering building a simulator in my garage to work on my game in the cold WI off season.
