GregGarner
I don't want to read tooooo much into it, but now I'm wondering about the trial sleeve I had. I couldn't play them because they were way too spinny - at least that's what I thought. But now I'm wondering if I just happened to have inconsistent spin and some spun too much and some spun an appropriate amount since I made it about 6 holes before having an "oh wow" moment where a partial-wedge pitch sucked back when I was expecting one hop and stop. I recall their distance off the tee being good enough, but definitely soft. Not mashed potatoes soft, but maybe marshmallow-after-two-weeks-out-on-the-counter soft. I was actually surprised that Tony's measurement of 78, which seemed high based on comparison balls that are only marginally firmer on the scale but feel quite a bit firmer in play. Golfspy_CG2
I played this ball A LOT two years ago, and liked it. I would rank the performance for the price paid as excellent. Crowev01
Thanks to MGS, I am starting to see what factories supplying some of these brands are most reputable, and makes me interested in trying other balls they are manufacturing for other companies. Love the ball lab. I honestly get excited when I see the notification for a new one. tschott4 1 Quote Titleist 975J Callaway Hawkeye 3 Wood Ben Hogan CFT Hybrid, Apex Plus Irons Cleveland 588 Wedges Scotty Newport 2 Mid Slant Pro Platinum

tschott4
Just started playing the Elixir a month ago and it has quickly become my ball of choice. The ball spins just the right amount by me and is just as long as the other balls I have played. give it a shot don't think you will be disappointed especially with the holiday deal of buy 2 get one free Quote Driver-Honma TW747 3 wood-Tour Edge CBX 119 Irons Tour Edge EXS Putter-SeeMore SB 20 Offset shaft
