Top flites have always felt okay too me. They perform fine but they don’t do well in the feel category. They feel clingy and cheap.

to be honest my past experience with Top Flite balls is pretty minimal. Not much outside of maybe some refurbs or Top Flite range balls. Never thought of it as anything close to a premium ball.

Typically Top Flite carries a reputation as a cheap ball that doesn’t perform well.  I honestly haven’t used one in years, but am interested in the “forgiveness” of a 3 piece vs the higher end player’s balls

Found that the Top Flight is a very hard ball.  Can not work the ball very much.  Has no backspin.  Sounds like you are hitting a rock.

I prefer to refer to them as "Rock Flite!"  As good as a ProV1 huh?  I'd like to find out.  These balls are very near & dear to my heart.  For one, it was the only ball I used back in the day of not having any money to afford Titleist Professional balls (the predecessor to the ProV1).  2nd .... my father always used this ball & only this ball.  He had 2 holes in one with a Top-Flight golf ball (I still can't believe it honestly).  These were always in his bag.  So they are very near & dear to my golfing heart.
