Shadethrower
I like to be single brand and model oriented in three major ways: First, top of the bag until irons Second, irons Third, wedges Putters are interchangeable among numerous brands and styles in the rack of 20. So, that occasionally gets me to four. I can, however, sport as few as two. I'm as fickle as my game is capricious. Having a blast mixing and matching and still being able to play off a 10. ChuckZ
Since I started playing golf in 1984 I have played every brand on the market except swoosh, before I was introduced to the importance of being correctly fitting. About ten years ago the Wilson Staff rep in our area introduced me to a fitting and I went all in with his brand and played with them for a couple of years. I learned about Titleist free fittings on Thursday program and went to them and have been 100% since that time. At 75 they have given me the distance and accuracy with every club that I never thought I could achieve. In my senior men's group I am by far the best striker of the ball and have had four holes in one with the equipment and had a career low 69 three days after my 68th birthday. Guess as they say the proof is in the pudding. I will continue to go to them for fittings as I look to new equipment. I am a brand loyalist. Somethings just never change. I was a Regional Manager for Levi's, for ten years and to the day, that is the only brand I wear. jellomo
2021 Summer was my first season back into the game in 10+ years so had to grab new clubs. I am not sure why but I just love Titleist clubs, and just happen to buy close to a full set, except for scotty's. I just love the soft feeling of the ping answer putters. I would love to try Srixon though, maybe Ill get fitted when I get some rust off haha.
