Cobra and Ping are both out of my bag for the first time since the GW administration. I really like my bag at the moment but am sure that one of those two will find their way back before too long...

Invested in the new Ping PLD Anser putter.  Have played Scotty Cameron since going away from my Ping putting days.  Am experimenting with it right now.  It is like any new project, an adjustment period for the both of us.  Found that it does not work well on slow greens.  I played in our interclub matches last Monday at a course in Summerville and slow is complimenting the pace of the greens.  More of a glorified goat track.  I would classify it a social club, not a golf course.  The PLD is a little heavier than my other putter {Cameron Special Select Newport 2) which is more of an all-purpose putter but has not been very consistent lately.  I do like the new milled face on the Ping putter and once I get my speed down I think I will be making a lot more putts.  My home course has fast greens and most I choose to play away on are fast.   Have only played with it about a half dozen times.  We are heading South to Florida in late September for a big outing a Streamsong and need something I can count on with their fast greens.  Playing on all their courses, three of which are rated in the top 100 in the US.  My birthday present to myself (76).  Sure I will see some of you down there.  😎

I’ve always had a mixed bag. But it’s getting progressively better with more higher quality brands in the past few seasons. I’m currently in the market for a 3W to help bridge a distance gap.

Well for me lately ANY putter for me is like a sledgehammer. Does not matter fast or slow greens does not matter the putter either from my beloved Rusty Scotty to a T P Mills---- But I did get a putting lesson from the former Golf Coach of Charleston Southern last night I will see today how it works out. And happy birthday in late Sept you got me 11 years mine is late Sept too
