Both of my putters are Anser style, which work best for me To add one more to the history lesson the golf balls I always used were Acushnet 90 compression. That's when there only were 80, 90, and 100 compression rated balls. Tour caliber players balls (100) and the rest of us (90) with choice of surlyn or balata cover along with solid ball or wound. Color of the number on the ball indicated compression - red=90, black=100. 80 compression were "ladies" balls although we learned to use the different compressions as temps changed. The warmer it got the higher the compression we used and vice versa. Cost me 75¢ per sleeve. Anyone remember wound balata balls? Cut really easy and out of round after three or four holes but they could be worked! With that soft cover you could really make them. But note, the soon also worked against you! Tee shots come to mind........ ! Deepred 1 Quote GPS111
