All that matters is performance.
I GUARANTEE that if this were the unquestioned “longest driver” on the market for 2021, all those who make comments about an ugly sole will still have one in their bag!!!!!

Looking forward to seeing what the “high moi/low spin” adjustment can do. There’s an obvious place for a torque wrench in it. Could it be like the TSi3 fairway and have some type of “elevator” weight adjustment there???

Similar to my guess as well. That “tube” from front to back has to contain adjustability, especially when the WHOLE HEAD is carbon fiber. Weight is needed somewhere.

I prefer straightest. You don’t look at the bottom when hitting so it isn’t enough to turn me off from it, it’s just suprisingly wow.

I just question the thought process behind having a carbon fiber sole. Unless that is just a funky paint job to make it look like carbon fiber!.

Multiple golf companies have used carbon fiber on the sole for a number of years now. It’s so they can put weight exactly where they want it

That’s probably a carbon fiber plate which attaches to a metal bar. It’s just to close the driver and make it lighter, there’s still likely metal inside for structural integrity front to back.

My guess is that’s a very rigid structure, as it supports the face. Probably a lot of perimeter weighting in it. Those front and back weights are likely pretty decent weight as well. My guess is they got the MOI pretty darn high on this one. Off center hits will be nice!

I am hoping that the weight towards the heel on the SIM Max 2 makes it less right side biased. I though it was maybe just me, but a ton of people found the SIM Max to be right side biased.

The weight is for swing weight adj. the blue back frame and carbon is lighter so the back weight is heavier. No adjustments on all 3 heads. No slider, nothing.

Sim was fade biased, max was slightly draw biased as all their previous models were. Anyone saying the Max was right side biased has their head up their ass and has no idea what they’re talking about.

Just a suggestion....

Be nice. Opinions are fine, but you might try a little tact.

Goes to show there more than one way to skin a cat when it comes to club design and for the golfer it’s finding what works best for them.

You are referring to the thread on wrx and I wouldn’t consider that to be indicative of a lot of people especially when in that thread there were several pointing out the reason those who felt it to be fade bias were seeing that as a result of the swing and path/face relationship and not so much the design.

I played the sim max all season coming from the standard g400. I bought the sim max 10.5 head and hzrdus smoke green shaft complexity blind. Never hit the shaft since it’s release and outside of the original hzrdus yellow shaft don’t really care for the hzrdus line but the yellow was a shaft fit for me in multiple heads over several releases from different companies. I prefer a fade and with the sim max I had to work hard to get it to move left to right. For me it was a driver than would stay on its start line. The only time it would move in a fade or push fade flight is when I made a bad swing and the face/path relationship caused the start right and fade right flight

See here homie..

it's OK to disagree and have enlightened convo here on the forum. We all do it as brothers in golf and it can be fun and actually educational if you have an open mind. Just come prepared to share your knowledge in an open and respectful fashion..

Now for your first lesson in Forum-ology 101: Poking your finger in someone's chest and calling playground names is a quick and easy way to find that your login isn't working the next day cuz you've been expelled from school. Especially dlow206. He's a well-respected forum presence that you don't need to be pushing around just because you have some crusty things you wanna say that might give your internet personality an ego boost.

Just keep it classy and all will be well my friend.
