Walked 18 hole this morning. Last week walked 4 / 18 hole rounds The first week of Dec. We had to wait until 8:30 until the frost on the Greens melted. The only time we don't play in December or January is if it's a downpour. Doesn't get cold enough in South Texas to keep us from playing. I do not have a fitness tracker.

I'm in Austin, TX. I still play regularly in December and January at least one round per week. I always use my push cart(cilcgear 3.5). Right now I only use my iPhone to track fitness data if that counts.

We play year round in the PNW, we have course built on volcanic ash that drain very well

As long as it is not too cold, well even then we can play

I have a Clicgear 3.5 and that is all I do is walk, I very rarley take a cart unless it is included with the green fees I walk!

I have the Garmin S60 and a range finder

Testers Wanted (4) BagBoy Tracker

Sometimes all we need is a simple easy solution for simple questions, The Bag Boy Fitness Tracker is just that.

How far you actually walk during a round of golf? 3 miles? 5 miles? More?

What about the number of calories you burn? (It’s more than you probably think.)

It might not be a revolutionary device and it probably won't save you any strokes either. That said, it will help you quantify the health benefits of walking and remove some guilt from that second bowl of ice cream.

As an added bonus you can earn discounts toward future BagBoy purchases by logging your rounds and hitting certain milestones.

How To Apply

(US Residents Only)

In a Post Below Provide the following information.

NOTE: You must be able to play actual rounds of golf in December and January.

First Name/City State

Can You Play Golf in Dec and January

Current Fitness Tracker Used if any

Brian/Austin, TX

Try to play at least once a week and just started walking with a push cart in the last month.

Fitbit or Apple Health (iphone)

Bogie is the new par

I live in south Texas and can play year round so this could be something good for me to test.

Zack - Cypress, TX

I play multiple times a month all year long and I don’t use any fitness tracker at this moment.
