DriverBreaker
For those using foot spray and dry erase markers, another option is a piece of masking tape or painters tape. Popular Post sirchunksalot
I finally was able to get out this evening and pair the Spornia and the Divot Board in a practice session. Weather has been crazy here the last couple of weeks lots of really windy and rainy days when I have time off work. That's been horrible, too. Worked today and I am scheduled to work next Saturday, too. Got to love major breakdowns. That being said, it was a good day for working on the swing. I would like to say thank you to @B.Boston for the Chris Ryan video on the 60-60-100 drill. Between that and @Tom the Golf Nut recommending the ball in front of my lead foot drill, I'm seeing improvements. I'll take that all day every day. It wasn't all perfect, I was still hitting behind some balls, but the mis-hits were better than normal. There were worse hits, but Rome wasn't built in a day. I have to remind myself that this is a process to fundamentally change patterns and work on building a foundation of a better golf swing. cnosil, Chip Strokes, GolfSpy BOS and 7 others 7

I say that because you don't see how high on the face you hit, but a little Odor X can take care of that. It'll be good to take to the range, also. Having to hit off mats doesn't give you the feedback this does. It's pricy, but I feel it'll pay for itself in no time with better golf shots. sirchunksalot
One of the greatest takeaways I have from being fortunate enough to review this net is the fact that I've never hit the golf ball right my entire life. Let me explain: as someone who has had three surgeries on my ankles, I've always relied on upper body and arms to swing the club. In my quest to be a better striker of irons, I've found out that ain't going to work. Getting to spend time testing this net under no pressure whatsoever to see where the ball goes I've been able to tinker with my swing. Put me on the course or even on the range, and my focus goes completely out of whack and I start playing like I did 20+ years ago when I first took up the game. Being able to build the foundation for an actual golf swing and routine will hopefully start me on the road to actually playing decent golf. I took some of the thoughts from the net practice to the range today and saw some major improvements in my ability to consistently hit the ball. It started out rough once I moved to full swings, but I was able to step back and regroup and started to see better results. I did two things: #1. Getting introduced to the 60-60-100 drill made me realize I need to focus on rotating around my sternum. I try to imagine that on the backswing it stays where it started and moves forward fractionally as I come into impact. I'm starting to see more contact at or in front of the ball. #2. Letting my body do the work. I was dealing with bad contact early in the range session today until I started imagining keeping my arms loose and trying to fling the club down the range. This feels like I'm engaging more of the larger muscles in my lower body and it seemed like I was more consistent with my distances. I realize seeking professional help would benefit me tremendously, and I'm hoping once Covid is better contained that'll be on the agenda. My game was horrible last year and I'm hoping to see fewer bad shots in the coming months with the help of practice with this net. sirchunksalot
I got some balls today after work, I've got my first round with my golf buddy this weekend and too much wedge practice is not enough wedge practice. The net performed well, as usual, keeping the shanks I started out with at bay. I did notice something, though. As I was feeding the roof poles through their channel, I discovered a slight rip toward the left hand side. I apologize for not having photos, I was in a rush and my phone was still in the house. I will amend this grievous mistake soon. As far as practice goes, I was hitting the ball a bit fat. I put the net up in the back yard and the slight uphill nature of the yard might have been the culprit. I have got to quit doing that. The good thing is, there aren't a lot of flat lies on the course. Purposeful practice, that's what I'll call it. sirchunksalot
I mentioned in my last post that the roof rail channel had developed a slight hole in it. I got out to practice today and got a picture of it. It's not too bad, but I'll just have to be careful sliding the poles in from now on. I got some good practice in, focusing on the 60-60-100 drill and not letting my front foot go crazy. My weight shift is already miles better than just a few weeks ago. I'm also trying to keep one simple swing thought in my head and that is feeling like I'm going to sling the club down the course. I guess it would be like the medicine ball throw I've seen posted from those doing Fit for Golf. Contact still needs work as I'm still hitting the ball a little fat, but time and practice will eventually come through. I still was able to get more crisp contact than normal and that's an encouraging sign. Micah T, cksurfdude, Rtracymog and 3 others

I’ve got a fenced in back yard and rather than fold it up, I just pull out the poles and let it lay flat. It has just enough weight the wind doesn’t catch it, and the rain doesn’t hurt it. And lying flat She Who Must Be Obeyed doesn’t see it.
