As you may have noticed.  I am a Star Wars fan... Disney just dropped a huge list of upcoming shows on Disney+...!  Cannot wait to see the expanded universe, and that Rouge Squadron movie ‘sounds’ promising.

It really is a shame they aren’t going to expand on the Solo movie.

Thoughts?

Buddy of mine texted me on this yesterday. Now I am no Star Wars follower and just recently started watching them all with my son and I wish I watched them sooner lol. Mandalorian is incredible. Can’t wait to see more on the Star Wars front

I think a Solo series might do better and Bryce Dallas Howard has proven herself quite well directing a couple episodes of The Mandalorian so maybe she can take Solo from her father and helm a series on Disney+.

I'm going to have to read up on some of the new releases they're going to drop on Disney+ and find out what they're about, but I can say I'm excited about the Lando, Asoka, and Obi Wan series. If they're anything like the Mandolorian, they'll be phenomenal!

I wish they would delve into earlier stories of Mace Windu and possibly Darth Maul. They were two of the more interesting characters in the prequels.

I was just browsing the possible synopsis for The Acolyte and it sounds interesting. Hopefully it'll expand on the story of Darth Plagueis, Palpatine's master.

+1 here.  Ahsoka would be of great interest.  Just finished Rebels and it leaves some great story lines to continue on.

I really need to watch Clone Wars and Rebels, I have always had a hard time getting over the animation style, but I might just have to bite the bullet and give them a try because I've heard the storytelling is amazing.

I watched a few with the kids.  They aren’t too bad, and yes the storyline is great.

I'm very pumped for this.  Lots of good stories to be told outside of the normal skywalker/palpatine threads.

I also am LOVING the Mandalorian's story telling and action sequences.  I wish more Star Wars was done like that.  I'd also love to see them develop a good single player video game.  That one (I think it was going to be called Star Wars: 1313) looked promising but got cancelled.  I liked Fallen Order but thought it was pretty short and not as "open" as I was expecting.  

anyway, I'm always happy to start talking Star Wars or other Sci-Fi... gets the nerd in me going for sure!

If you enjoyed Rouge One, it is a must that you read Catalyst.  Although, I didn’t read it, I listened to it on audiobook.  They should have made that a movie.

Clone wars started it for me. Idk how many times I saw that and texted @B.Bostonabout different characters lol. I have now seen pretty much everything but solo and am current with mandalorian .

You made a liar out of me... Solo is a must.. it is near the top for my favorite.  A few cheesy parts but Han is my favorite character so...

Clone wars started it for me. Idk how many times I saw that and texted [mention=85402]B.Boston[/mention]about different characters lol. I have now seen pretty much everything but solo and am current with mandalorian .

Absolutely loved the original and several subsequent sequels but then it started to lose its appeal a bit.  Reading the posts on here clearly tells me I have not kept up with this series.

Some of the new stuff is not so good.. but there are some really good story lines, and this Mandy TV show is high class.  I think Lee Trevino would even give it the “Touch of Class” quote... maybe, but probably not.

I’m just about done with season 1 of The Clone Wars. Digging it so far.

If the Obi Wan series is anything like Mando, I am all in.
