I topped 2 shots with driver in my garage. It ricocheted up. Need to Google how to patch a ceiling

@StrokerAce Any luck on using Superspeed with the MLM? Interested in getting both products and curious how it worked for you 🙂

sorry man...just saw this; for some reason didn't get notified you had tagged me.

my superspeed sticks are still in the box as well as the MLM - it's been so cold out that I wouldn't be able to use either on a regular and consistent basis; hoping that I'll be able to unbox and start mid/late Feb. but New England can be fickle when it comes to winter weather.

I'll be sure to post an update as soon as I start

I’m still compiling data with hitting inside/outside with net and then at the range. The weather has made things really tough to be outside consistently. Hoping to get a session in with the trackman in the next couple weeks and see how my gapping compares.

In terms of just practicing, I have really enjoyed getting to practice what a 40, 60, 80, and 100 yd shots feel like with my wedges and trying to consistently hit those. Some of the courses I play at allows for me to try and bomb my driver down or cut a dogleg to be 100 yds and in. This is one area I’d really like to improve on.

If the question is, will the SuperSpeed sticks swing speed be accurately measured by the Rapsodo?  The answer is no.

Taylor Made Stealth 2 10.5 Diamana S plus 60  Aldila  R flex   - 42.25 inches

SMT 4 wood bassara R flex, four wood head, 3 wood shaft

Srixon ZX5 MK II  5-GW - UST recoil Dart 65 R flex

India 52,56 (60 pending)  UST recoil 75's R flex

Evon roll ER 5 32 inches

It's our offseason so auditioning candidates - looking for that right mix of low spin long, more spin around the greens - TBD

I was not excited to need to clear the driveway this morning...   I'm not sure I even knew it was going to be measurable snow yesterday haha

Thankfully its almost February... so we're do for that few days of 60-70 degrees before another cold spell through March.  NE winters can be so much fun!

I'm not about to get in a pissing contest with someone who lives out in the northern mid-west about cold winters! haha

I do not get jealous of those um... negative temperatures I see a lot.  Were you in a lake effect snow area too?  Or is that more of an eastern side of the great lakes thing?

You know what... nevermind... this is NOT the forum for talking about snow!  How's the weather in St. Pete?  😆

B Boston the joy of Lake Michigan is that you can get Lake effect snow simply by the wind changing directions. 🙂  But the prevailing wind did not nail us, mercifully.

The weather in St. Pete is glorious - we are at the time of the year when most days are sunny and 75.  Unfortunately I'm working rather than out enjoying it.

Just got my Rapsodo in the other day. Too cold to hit outside but have a nice bit of turf and net inside so was able to get it rocking and am very interested with what I am getting. Am hoping to figure out some gapping issues.

I don't miss those NE winters. Expecting 60 degrees and sunshine tomorrow for my round. In other news, just put down an offer on Ebay for a Flightscope Mevo. Website FAQ says Android support was slated for end of 2020 but I don't see any updates on it. Let's see if the seller is willing to part with their Flightscope for the price I asked!

Hey testers did Rapsodo just do some sort of upgrade?

I noticed that all of my saved data now includes height at apex. I was really hoping for that - a huge help

Rev, I had been so focused on working on launch angle that I missed the apex. From what I could tell before your discovery , the upgrade was more about setting up their virtual lesson packages

My Titleist ball fitter loved that I have a Rapsodo and that I can see by it that generally the higher I launch the ball the farther it goes - I really enjoy that feature and having the apex is huge IMO.

Reviews are saying the Rhapsodo drains your phone battery pretty quickly. What is everyone getting for average use time on the range? I am going to be looking at a launch monitor that gives spin numbers so that I can work on bringing my driver spin down a bit. If the Rhapsodo won't last a full range session, not sure if I would be interested in it. Well at least until they bring support for Android.

How are you working on your launch angle? I just recieved my Rapsodo and am launching everything but my driver a good 5 degrees higher then I "should". I say that in quotes because I am basing it off when I got fitted and they had an optimal launch angle amount for a 7 iron being right around 17 degrees.

I have an iPhone 12, while it does seem to run your battery down faster, my phone has never died while using. That is to say, I don’t go to the range with my battery at lower than 20%, but I’ll check today or tomorrow and see what my battery percentage is on at the start and end for you.

I’ve never had my battery run out in a range session. My bigger issue is the phone overheating in the summer months in Florida. :(

Plus for the most part everyone these days has a portable battery but who wants to deal with the hooking up of all that for a range session. Plus my daughter uses my battery to watch her shows while we are at the range. (In between her hitting balls too of course!)

It can get pretty hot here in SoCal too so overheating would be an issue as well.

I am working on wedges only for the launch angle. My drivers are all topped shots, so the launch is 2-5 degrees right now

I apologize if this has already been asked/discussed (I admittedly have not read through all of the forum).

Have any of you compared your normal driver numbers on say a GC Quad with clubface stickers or TrackMan to this Raspsodo?  I've got a friend who has one and he is a fast SS player like me.  His spin is really high with Rapsodo and he knows from ample testing on GC2 and trackman what his normal driver stats are (carry, spin, launch angle, etc.).  He says for most everything else it is pretty accurate.

Congrats on the awesome opportunity!

I’m trying to get a gapping session with one of the head pros at one of the local golf courses with a trackman to see how it compares with the Rapsodo. Weather hasn’t exactly cooperated lately. Hoping to compare here soon.

The Rapsodo does not read spin (yet) but from the MyGolfSpy test it was the most accurate compared to the high end launch monitors for the categories it does read.

Are you sure he doesn’t have a Mevo which measures spin rates. Rapsodo won’t but it’s very accurate on the swing speed and launch angle metrics - I think that’s pretty well established

yeah - unless you put something on the ball (i.e. those silver stickers) it's pretty hard to use an accurate algorithm to measure spin. hopefully there's a breakthrough with that but as of now I don't think that's an option.

I’m trying to get a gapping session with one of the head pros at one of the local golf courses with a trackman to see how it compares with the Rapsodo. Weather hasn’t exactly cooperated lately. Hoping to compare here soon.

Awesome!  I look forward to the accuracy results!

You can currently get a brand new Mevo with 50 bucks off using promo code "50offMevo".  www.flightscopemevo.com
