A big enough thanks can not be expressed to both @StrokerAce & @STUDque for everything they have done over the years. Whether you know it or not, each of you have been incredible helpful and I am forever grateful for the guidance you both have provided to myself and the rest of the forum. 

 

Both of you will always be welcome here in Central Oregon. Just let me know and golf at Eagle Crest is on me. I will also do my best to help as much as I can for other facilities in the region

@STUDque and @StrokerAce words do not do enough to express how much we all owe you both for the last two years. Personally I experienced Studs dedication to get my CCC experience off the ground when it went a little wrong. He was brilliant and made life so easy. Boys if I could I would love to buy you both many beers

As a former mod, from another hobby board, I know how hard you guys work behind the scenes and balancing work & life while creating a great user experience, can be difficult. As a long time member here at MGS, I personally thank STUDque and StrokerAce for the job they have done these past two years. You have kept MGS on the straight and narrow, making MGS the best golf forum on the planet. Again, thanks so much and we’ll see you on the flip side.

Lot of nice sentiments expressed above and I wholeheartedly agree with each!

Several years ago I was involved in a non-profit and spent a lot of time and effort helping to get a local chapter up and running, and organized ... and one of the tools we used was an online forum to engage more people, especially into several sub-categories of special interest projects. Anyway - the point here being that not only to set up and configure all the software, and enable all the users and groups, and monitor the discussions, and ..., and ..., and - try to listen to / respond to / incorporate each user's feedback and requests ... well after a while it all became like real w-o-r-k (which, my friends, is a 4-letter word ).

So I do appreciate all that goes in to managing not just an online forum but also all of its members and stakeholders.

I'm hoping this isn't "goodbye" as much as it's "see you around."  All of the mods do a phenomenal job, but special thanks to @StrokerAce.  And @STUDque - the CCC would not be what it is without you.  Kudos to you both!

From one former director to another, you guys did a great job!  Thanks @StrokerAce and @STUDque for all the hard work you put in.  I know the transition to the new forum software was a massive undertaking and you guys did amazing with the transition.

@GolfSpy MPR & @Golfspy_CG2 Keep up the great work!  This forum is an amazing place not just because of the members but also from the guidance and behind the scenes work that our Mods and Directors put in.  Keep it rolling in 2021 and thank you!
