The simple answer is probably that they didn't  sell very well?

Yeah, I get that. I also thought things were on a two year cycle so to cut it off after just one year doesn't make sense to me. Also, they have so many models that I never actually see on the course that I would have thought you cut a model out that's been around before one that has only been out a year.  Oh well.  Just surprised is all.

You would need to look at supply chain and inventory to determine some of those answers. I go there was no more inventory,
Why continue to produce just to meet some arbitrary cycle.

The putters are still available and based on the changes you have specified would be an easy acquisition at a lower price.

I was really surprised to see that both the B60 and B61 is still available.  I picked up my B61 in 1988... guess it has a following or that PING dosen't place too much value on how well a product sells?
