Vegan_Golfer_PNW
This is a hypothetical question. Maybe you win a contest, maybe you come into some money and grab some clubs you always wanted to try or didn’t think you were good enough for. What would your set look like (cost not belong a factor) here is what mine would be based on others experiences and reviews on here. driver: TSi3 at 10.5* (toss up here but not enough data on the RADSpeed to commit and each seem to offer similar forgiveness (based on YouTube reviews and the forum review of the TSi) hybrid: Callaway 17* Super hybrid (struggle with woods, hybrids are ok and like the idea of a big head on a short stick although the Cobra Speedzones seem tempting) UI: Mizuno MP-20 HMB 3I (toss up here. Great irons, great feel, can hit them low or high, fades or draws, and with the v-sole they don't dig. They really play nice out of fairway bunkers. The distance control is good. too. Have won a lot more "closest to the pin" jackpots since I got them in 2019. And they are forgiving, at 60 years old, I need forgiving, a lot of it. I'd say the Srixons will be a great choice. 1 Quote Link to comment
Buffly
My dream bag with a fitting: Ping Driver/woods/hybrids Muira Irons & Wedges Sik Mallet Putter Ping Bag Titleist AVX Balls My actual bag will probably include Maltby Irons/Wedges to replace my Ping G2 irons. I haven't landed on a used driver yet - probably a G400 LST to replace my Callaway XR16. My current putter is an Evnroll ER8 Tour Mallet - not sure what might replace it. And, it will be really hard to replace my Taylormade SLDR S 5w. 1 Quote Golf is simple - people are complicated. 5w Taylormade SLDR S 19* - 220yd, Ping G2 5-U - 190-105, Maltby M+ 54* & MG 60* - 95-75, Evnroll ER8, Titleist 816 H1 4h 21*, Maltby 4 Hybrid Iron 24* - 210-200, Callaway XR16 8* - 235 carry Link to comment
Pandaman
Dream bag? Cost no object? I'd fly out to TXG and get fitted to what's best for me. I reckon I could just about get away with it if I took my wife to Canada for a 'holiday' for a couple of weeks. No point in me drooling over shiny stuff that's not actually going to help my game. 3 Quote Link to comment

jaskanski
It may be hypothetical, but I would steer clear of making any decisions on what to put in your bag based on anecdotal evidence such as "I've heard good reviews" - you need to go out and try them for yourself. Sure, reviews and such are a useful resource for getting equipment on your radar, but they should never be the reason to make a blind purchase based on somebody else's opinion. So instead, demo the equipment first and then make your own mind up about how it will fit into your requirements. The golf equipment industry relies heavily on outrageous claims of distance, feel, forgiveness, etc. but if the used equipment market which is arguably even larger is anything to go by - buyer regret is unfortunately alive and well. Don't be that guy/gal. Be smart and make choices on evidence you can see and feel for yourself. Happy Christmas. 4 Quote Link to comment

BMart519
As a Canadian, it would be whatever I was fit into at a full bag fitting by TXG since they are the only place I know of in the country that will adjust all (or most) club parameters to see how you react to swing weight, total weight, etc. 2 Quote F9 Driver 9* Baffler hybrids some combo of 2H-5H APEX CF19 6-AW G700 4i, Glide 2.0 54, 58* EAS 2.0 Link to comment

Makes me want to take a drive up to Canada and visit them. I'm not sure I've seen a fitting and or the process to get someone into the right specs as thorough as those guys do it. Not sure if the rest of their staff do the same, but I'd have to imagine they do.
