Be careful of the Columbus event, though -- it spilled into today, so there might be a couple WDs for this week coming out of that qualifier. Erik Van Rooyen (4 consecutive missed cuts, but T1 with a 2nd round -8) and Chez Reavie (also T1 at -12) are both easy pickups for this week if they stay in the field. And sad news coming out of that event -- looks like Rickie is going to miss by 1 

So nobody took my advice here? I didn't do it either (avoided the Columbus guys), but as of right now, Van Rooyen is T1 and Reavie T16, both with 6 to play (only 1 team has EVR, 0 Reavie). John Huh isn't working out nearly as well for me, but just having 4 guys playing is a big win this week.

They honestly change a few times a day. I don't know which one is correct anymore but there are two versions that keep changing back and forth.

They seem right to me. I went from 2nd to 1st but that was due to passing @ZJBogey2in points since he punted this week

You'll randomly be 1 game back of ZJ from time to time, it's odd how it keeps changing. I go from 7 games back to 8 but never change from 4th place.

We are currently about 20 weeks into the season right now. I don't believe there are any teams available to take over at the moment either. That being said feel free to ask any questions and stay tuned for next season as well as Fantasy Football if that is of any interest to you.

It's true. Evidence here - @blackngold_blood is back in 2nd this morning, and I'm back up to 8th from 11th:

Points for/against are live stats on the leaderboard. Always. So you could move up and down the leaderboard as the week goes on if there’s other teams you’re tied with. The wins and losses don’t change, just the tiebreakers. 
 

If something is broken, the dead giveaway is there will be a bunch of ties on everyone’s records. This one has happened a few times in recent weeks but Fantrax has been good about fixing it reasonably quickly.

Yup they have done a pretty good job at fixing things after they have bugged out. I mean given the size and overall uniqueness of our league they do a really good job and the issues we have come across are usually minor. The more years we have spent on them with fantasy golf the more I have enjoyed the platform and its capabilities as well as layout.

This is accurate but what was being talked about was I should have 118 wins and I keep going back and forth between 118 and 117.  I believe someone else was having a similar issue. I’m guessing it is just a glitch.

Exactly what I'm seeing with my team. I didn't note the specific number of wins, but my games back number changes between 14 and 15 depending on when I log in (when I'm 14GB, I'm in 8th; when I'm 15, I'm in 11th).

This has been a tough week so far....

In the top 15 for points scored this week I thankfully sit in 3rd, but I have matchups against 1,2,7,12 making it a little difficult to say. Thankfully I have all 4 of mine make the cut, although fleetwood was bleeding strokes throughout the round I feel he will bounce back and Sneds has been my Mr. Reliable pickup making another cut. VS @blackngold_bloodHe has the leader in Hadley and DJ as well as Sneds so its a my 3 of Hatton, English, Fleetwood vs his 2. @chipstrokes has 4 into the weekend as well with none of the same players as me so it will be close. @MattBFG and @juspoole both dropped a player or 2 so it is looking more promising, but with bonus points and top 25/10/5 finishes they are still in the mix. Either way a exciting weekend of golf lies ahead!

One thing about these smaller events is you usually have a pretty good idea how the week will shake out after the cut. Counting my chickens early, seems like the Muffins are looking at 7 wins, 2 losses, then a matchup with @JonMUSC08 that could go either way……barring WDs of course. Pretty disappointed in Laird this week, I thought I was a smart guy picking him off waivers.

Waiver are tricky. I struck gold with Hadley but then needed the Dude Wipes after Duff crapped out!

Always fun to hit gold on the waiver, but really is a crap shoot a lot of the time. I have my bids in for next week and found who i like, but none of them are so good I'll be dropping a lot of my budget on. Hopefully with my 6/7 I have in the field will be good enough and thst last spot or two will be my wild card hit and hope player(s).

Nowhere near as "smart" as me picking up Lucas Glover.  His backyard course and a Congaree ambassador... oh well,  he's a previous US Open winner, certainly he'll make the that field... right?

In fairness to the Glover pickup he had been trending in the right direction and playing well. The same went with Whaley... he had 5 of his last 7 events top 30 and he other 2 were top 36 and yet he missed the cut. Sometimes it just happens and players have bad weeks. I was going hard to try and get brooks for this weekend and he ended up missing the cut and I ended up with English instead who has played really well. In the end it is just the rub of the green!

Looking solid so far this week with my matchups as long as nothing crazy happens.  @Apolloshowl is beating just about everyone this week, but other than that, I'm in the drivers seat to maybe go 9-1.  A few more good weeks, I'm hoping to climb in the top 30.  Wish I would have made more moves early as I was too stubborn and wasn't paying enough attention to the active fields.

Come playoffs anything can happen and there is still lots of weeks left for people to drop/climb the standings. Also a good 6 weeks before the trade Deadline. 

It's also a little easier to tell which players are trending in the right direction too.

Well, he seemed the appropriate upgrade for Thompson.  That gave me one more at Congaree and the bonus would have been him getting into the US Open; getting me 7 of 8 in the field. Hoping to make the playoffs this season but its looking iffy.

I really don't think Brooks even plans to make the weekend in tourneys before a major. Seems he goes in working on one or two things as a prep for the next week and then he has more time at the major venue. Seems to work pretty well for him!

Something crazy did just happened! You dropped two players still playing at Palmetto Championship?

Do you still get credit for their points?

Yes, as soon as the lineups are locked at whichever time Thursday you are free to drop players and will still get credit for them. Same goes for trades that happen during the weekend. Your lineup is set as of Thursday and from there on Free Agents can only be picked up after waivers have run and you can drop however many players you like and still get their points. I did the same with Sneds... would have preferred to try and trade him, but wasn't sure I would get much value. 
This way you can add players into your waiver priority and not have to worry about who you are dropping them for.

Well a quick look show that guys that are owned by at least 1 team are green while those who aren’t owned by anybody are gold. That may not be the reason but the first 3 pages of players holds true to that.

That was my thought to begin with but Kuchar is green and set to run Wednesday while Champ is green and set to run Tuesday.
