Colin Morikawa has been laying low just for the Tour Championship. Finau, Colin go 1, 2 just for me to still finish 20 points behind @blackngold_blood

Every single point I get closer is a win for me.

Looks like I’m gonna ride JT and Xander to the finish.  Xander plays well at East Lake so I’m happy to be the only one with him

And for me i need Brooks, Berger Spieth 1,2,3 with Hovland and or Scheffler to do well. At least i have 3 guys nobody else has!

A little late to the party, but a busy weekend meant next to no golf for me and when I was home I spent it with my wife and dogs, however after listening to NLU's podcast on a quick work trip I feel somewhat caught up. 

Congrats to Tony Finau on his second career PGA tour win. Someone who I am a big fan of and owned for a good portion of the season and tried to get back late, but for him a stellar week and good to see him on top once again. 

Fantasy though is what really matters to us. Tony winning is great, but we had yet another cut and as you could have seen in @STUDque post above there were certainly some surprises. @blackngold_blood has maintained and pushed his lead to 36 points. Certainly a good lead, but not one that cannot be sat on for the next 2 weeks. @Berg Ryman had the best week of the bunch and climbed his way with 0 bonus points all the way up to 5th spot. A great feat to say the least. Add in @Lacassem who only had 5 bonus points is sitting in 4th respectively. 

Only 4 other teams with zero bonus points had strong enough weeks to make the top 20. @edingc@the_hammer, @JonMUSC08 and @cams gotta big putt. Who will all advance to to next week. 

Unfortunately @Quigleyd missed out by a tiny .8 points to @Nunfa0 for the final spot. A very close margin that is the different of a few pars, one birdie or bogey. 

We also saw some top teams have struggling weeks. Long time top 5 teams @jddaigneault and @ZJBogey2 had great teams all season and even with 20 and 30 point starts respectively had their teams fall short of the cut line. Them along with 8 other teams with bonus points are now on the outside looking in and having to look forward to next season. 

My own team got lucky, somehow managing a T11 and 60 point deficiet to top spot in large part to my bonus points, but even more so I had the lowest scoring team this week to make the top 20... things are not looking great for the howl!

Even though there is a pretty decent lead so far there are still 2 weeks left and as we saw this week truly anything can happen. Number of players in the final week will also play a big role in determining the champion. Yes the odd's are in BNG's favour, but there are many good teams looming. One weak week and that lead will be gone, one strong week and it may be wrapped up. With no Patrick Reed and some other key names either not showing up or listed with unknown injuries there are still lots of opportunities to make up points.

For now onto week 2 of playoffs where I can certainly hope my team makes a strong comeback and maybe Hovland finds himself a new putter haha

Super fun year. I tried a new strategy and I think I bailed on it too soon. Oh well, next year..

Thanks for the fun guys, I am happy that I made it to the second week of the playoffs and all that without a single trade . Maybe next year I will investigate the dark corners of the fantasy golf world and see if I can win....

Still a LOT of golf left.

If this was to continue as is I would make up 62 points on BNG and still be 3 points shy  need to gain 17 points per round which is a tall order and that doesn't include the others who are also having good weeks.

Pretty sure it’s over @blackngold_bloodhas a strong lock with rahm and Thomas going to finish in the top 10 at a minimum

I think he owns 32 of the teams so he can get all the trades he does.
