JP Labuschagne 1
My only addition to the golf bag was a Taylormade Spider putter and my putting has really improved. Not sure if it just a mental thing, but the longer line really helps me to aim better and it feels like I am more confident with putts under the 7 foot range. I also discovered a new brand www.luckygolf.co and must say that I was really impressed with their towels and gloves, and I think they are reasonably priced as well. Next item to buy is a new golf bag so let me know which one you recommend! 1 Quote Link to comment

I'll throw in my 2 cents on bags/carts. Don't know if you walk or ride, but if you do walk I've read that doctors recommend you use a push cart instead of a stand bag (easier on the back). In that case, a cart bag will work if you either ride or push. I just LOVE the TopLok system on the Bag-Boy carts which integrates with that same system on either Datrek or Bag-Boy bags. Quad XL cart is super easy to fold/unfold; it is also quite compact when folded, (and they make a great storage bag which keeps the trunk clean). Nice integrated beverage holder which is good size (holds my Yeti 20 oz. Tumbler with ease) The Top-Lok system gets your bag attached and rolling toward the course in under a minute (no straps to mess with), and is very secure - you'd have to upend the whole thing for the bag to detach. There are quite a few models of bags between the two brands (I have a Datrek) so it will depend on what features are most important to you. 2 Quote I'm decidedly brand agnostic -- but a bit less so with my recent change from a PING driver - TSi2 10.5 Driver - Tensei AV Raw Blue 55 R - TS2 4W - Graphite Design Tour AD DI 6 RS & TS2 7W - Alta CB 65 R - Baffler 23* - Aldila NV-HL 65 R - Original Series 0211 - 5-PW - MMT 80 S - CBX2 50 / 54 / 58 - Rotex - Directed Force 2.1 (Nickel) - KBS Tour - Press No. II 3* - MTB Black - DG Lite II cart bag attached via Top-Lok to - Quad XL and Tracked by - V3 Link to comment

Jackal 151
I have jumped around with drivers over the last 10 years. Never buying the latest, maybe last years model. My distance had dropped from 265-270 to around 235-240. It didn't matter what. I bought a used ( like new). Epic Flash SZ driver. My plans were to re-sell it. I put a non-pro Tensei white shaft in it, and I'm back at 250?? again. When it gets warmer & drys up, it should be a little longer. It seemed my distance was gone for good. 2 Quote Always chasing different clubs Link to comment

Lacassem 17,677
Last year I bought more than I ever have as well. Best purchase are a tie because the verdict isn’t out on my driver shaft but from early signs it will be the best purchase -HZRDUS green shaft and P790 irons. Irons towards the end of the year were really cooperating and knew where I was missing, distance and control are great, something I didn’t have before 2 Quote Check out my reviews: G710 Irons Official Review MC Shaft & V Series Putter Official Review WITB: Traverse is filled with all this shiny metal and tracked by RadSpeed 8* - MotoreX F1 6X SIM 3W - Project X HZRDUS Green SpeedZone 4H - Project X HZRDUS Black 2019 P790 4-PW - Project X 6.5 LZ 48 (SM8), 52, 56, 60 (SM7) - Nippon Modus 125 S ER2VI PROV1X #19 Thank you to all those that have served/are serving and God Bless America Link to comment

Hoyoymac 288
A few months ago I started this thread as a review for 2020. At that time I made a prediction that the best purchase for 2021 would be the Orange Whip swing trainer and Lightspeed trainer. Well I was right, sort of. About 6 weeks ago a representative from Orange Whip reached out to me via email and offered an opportunity to purchase their Power Peel package at a significant discount. I accepted their offer and bought the Power Peel package and enrolled in the company’s free trial of their GFX training program. When the free trial period ended I eagerly paid for an annual subscription to the GFX programs as I was seeing and feeling results very quickly in my strength, flexibility and mobility both on and off the course. Now the results are even better. I have gained an average of 17 yards in Driver distance according to my Arccos statistics since I started the program. I’ve gone from an average Driver smart distance of 235 yards to 252 yards. My smart Range is now 244-267 yards. It is early in the year, but I’m calling my best purchase of 2021 right now, the Orange Whip Swing Trainer and the Power Peel Package. I just ordered their putter and wedge trainers because I have become a believer in their products and am looking forward to getting the rest of their range of products to test. 2 Quote Ping G410 LST 10.5 Taylormade SIM Ti - 19 lofted down to 17 Tour Edge XCG7 - 21 Tour Edge C721 - 25 Corey Paul - 5-PW Japan Forged Minimalist Blades Corey Paul Functional Art 50, 54 & 58 Odyssey O Works Black #7 with BGT Stability Tour Shaft, SuperStroke Traxion 3.0 & 75g CounterCore Bridgestone Tour BRX Link to comment
Golfsaved hmm ruinedmylife 1
Oh boy… Um, let’s travel inside my memory bank. First off was a 4-gw cobra black forged tec irons. Took my 2012 TM Rbz’s up against the new at the time, sim os irons, a Titleist set, and the cobras. No clue at the time but I think the pga ss had me in a stiff kbs $ taper. The 12’ rbz’s felt and showed same #’s as the 20’ sim os’s, the Titleist almost the same feeling and same numbers. Then the Cobra’s. 7 iron was avg 5 extra mph ball speed and felt like butter. 1 after another. The consistency was blowing me away. Baby fades, 3 yard draws on demand that were making me laugh. I’ve never experienced anything like it. Found a reputable source and bought them. They came with the dg amt white s300 black version. So, not knowing about shafts or about golf in general, I was a happy camper. Ehh!!, found out pretty quick the shafts, weight, lie, loft, grip, and even the ball makes a huge difference, especially because I’m an athlete with natural fast reflexes and body control. So, to the op…. Best 2020 purchases, I’d have to say these: perfect putter mat, my custom Mizuno Jpx921 HMP’s w/ Nippon modus3 tour 105x shafts, Callaway Epic Max LS 9*(currently w/ a Tensei pro blue TX flex tipped 1”playing at 45.5”, Evnroll erIIvr midlock putter, Taylormade Truss TM2 center shafted putter with the heavier 20 gram weights, a Scotty x5 also made heavy, Taylormade Mg2 56/12 bent to 54/10, Taylormade Tiger Mg2 60/12 bent to 59/11 both with KBS 610 r+, the precision pro R1 rangefinder!!! Ummm and all the knowledge I’ve gained, that has brought me to more knowledge, and more knowledge. This game has been literally saved my life, not ruined it. The largest of all, finding my passion that has led me to my current job as an assistant pro. I lost my wife (god rest her brilliant, amazing, beautiful soul) early 2020 that has left me with this unbelievable opportunity to work within my newfound passion. So, “GOLF in general” is my most amazing related purchase of 2020!!! still wondering if it’s saved… or ruined my life 1 Quote 9* Epic Max Ls down to 7* W/Tensei Pro Blue Cobra SZ Big Tour 3 W/HZRDUS Smk Yellow Cobra F9 H3 19* W/Tensei Pro Blue PXG Gen 2 0317x H4 22* W/Tensei Pro Blue Cobra Forged tec black 5-PW W/KBS $ S+ PXG 0311T 50* Sugar Daddy W/TT Tour Elvt TM 56* MG2 & 60* MG2 Tiger W/ DG S400 TM Truss TM2, TM Spider tour, PXG gen 2 spitfire, O.G.
