What kind of things do you keep or collect in your bag? Mine varies by bag and season.

I always have loose change, too many tees and balls, some sort of liquor, band aids, tape, lead tape, ball marker or two,  extra divot tool, socks, towels, groove sharpener, gloves?  Tylenol, ibuprofen, pencils, towels, water, sharpie, cleats, cleat tool, range finder, wallet, keys, phone, snacks, and an old scorecard.

In the cold and wet season add stocking hat, rain gear, extra layer, winter golf gloves, umbrella, and extra towels.

I’m probably over prepared. I always have a towel, 6-9 balls, tees, 2 divot tools, quarters (1 buddy who likes to play for quarters), various gloves, golf glasses & case, ball markers, ibuprofen, pencil, rangefinder, wallet, phone, keys, mask, granola bars, blank scorecards, band aids and rain suit along with something to drink (and eat if I’m playing over lunch). Umbrella and maybe extra socks if rain is forecast. I add a knit cap, gaiter and gloves for winter, and rarely/occasionally liquor. Since I walk with a push cart or ride, I’m not too worried about lightening the load. My carry years are past...

A wadded up green Nike wind shirt that looks awfully wrinkled when I pull it out for use (oh well, I'm warm), handful of the club's cheap plastic ball markers, some loose change, couple of handful of white long tees (again free from the club), several divot repair tools, a couple of nicer ball markers from USGA and a few half dollar size ball markers, as well.  Glove currently being used and perhaps a spare, although the spare is less common, a pair of rain gloves, a skull beanie, a pocket full of used golf balls that I haven't gotten around to recycling yet, 2-12 new balls, Bushnell range finder, Sky Caddie 5, driver adjusting tool (I haven't used it in ages, but I saw it the other day).  2 towels hanging off the side and a groove cleaning tool on a retractable lanyard hang on the side of the bag.  More than likely, there is a candy bar wrapper or two lingering around the recesses of one of the pockets.  I also have an insulated water flask stowed in a side pocket.  Lord knows what other gear can be found lurking around in the pockets.  It's a cart bag, so I'm no weight weenie when it comes to "stuff" in my bag.

My wife calls the back seat of my car my closet.  I have several hats, windbreaker, rain jacket and pants (hardly ever used but handy when needed), cart mounting bracket for the GPS.  In the trunk along with two golf bags, I have two push carts, two pairs of golf shoes, two umbrellas (used more for sun protection than rain), and ball retriever.  This stuff stays in the car year round, except when my wife pulls clothes out because "they need washing".  🤣

All the usual stuff in my bag; 2 towels (one dirty and one not so clean); club brush water bottle, 3 well-used balls for chipping practice, up to 2 sleeves of balls (will add another sleeve when I start on the second sleeve), bunch of tees, ball markers and repair tool; ear band for cold windy days, (2) driver adjustment tools for my wife and I; nail clippers, multi-tool; ibuprofen and Swiss Kriss (lol); golf wallet for drinks, no change this year.

My wife prepares a cooler with drinks, snacks for us, GPS and laser, and peanuts (salted of course for seasoning) to feed the squirrels.  She's fattening them up for the hawks.

Too many tees (ain't counting, still picking up ones I like), too many balls (at least 20 or so), too many ball markers (half dozen or more), too many divot tools (I know there are at least 5 or six), band-aides, Ibuprofen, six or seven gloves (one is a left in case it's cold or I sunburned the back of my hands the day before, as I play bare handed), Sunscreen (Really, I've been Red Headed all my life and got the skin cancer surgery scars to prove it and also wear a wide brimmed hat), blister tape, pocket knife or two, brush to clean the spikes, Spike Wrench, Club Wrench to adjust the loft/weights/hosels, Rain Hood for the clubs that match the bag, Rain Pants, Umbrella, Ibuprofen, three or four minis from the liquor cabinet-Vodka/Fireball/Bourbon, A Flask full of Something Good that depends on my mood, range tokens, locker key at my favorite course, three or four towels hanging on the side with a club brush, an extra in the bag, couple of pairs of clean socks, Laser Rangefinder, Blue Tooth Speaker, Valuable Bag with wallet and keys, Cigar Cutter, Three Lighters for the Cigars, probably forgot a few things. This is going to make me panic cause I know I have way too much in my bag at any given time.  Anyways, here go...

  • about a dozen balls
  • a crown royal bag full of tees (mostly plastics that I've found on the course - haven't bought tees in about 15 years)
  • a crown royal bag for my 4 or 5 different ball markers, scotty divot tool, put my watch and wallet in there when playing, range tokens, extra change maybe.
  • Rangefinder
  • Sunscreen
  • Bug Spray
  • Nike water kit.  Takes up way to much room
  • Titleist winter gloves (should probably take them out in the summer huh?)
  • Winter Cap (see aforementioned statement about winter gloves! 🤣 )
  • Advil
  • 3 extra gloves
  • Score Cards that I should have trashed a while ago cause i turned in scores already
  • Club Tool

I'm sure way to many things there... but I'm starting to have anxiety over all that crap so I'm gonna stop there! lol

You know, there are very few things those bags are good for after you've taken the bottle out of them so... Just made sense to use them as an "extra's" bag for the golf bag.  Then again, sometimes they're in the bag and the BOTTLE is still in there... which makes those hard rounds (like todays frigid expedition) all the more bearable frankly.  A nice HOT shower couldn't come soon enough!  Cheers mate!  🧉

You are going to laugh--- A co worker of mine and buddy uses CR bags for head covers on his woods and putters. He will tell you unabashed that he earned those. Which he did but it is always to poke fun at me. I found a shoe box full of assorted CR bags in a wrecked car one day on the yard. Do not know if it caused the status of the car or not. I use them for tees and markers plus my Cigar accessories.

As I carry at the moment it's all about keeping weight down but I'm only just starting playing again so balls are the major weight addition..

About 12 balls

Spare glove

About 15 long tees for driver and a couple of old, broken ones for irons/FW wood.

2 ball markers

Scorecard, spare pencils

Pitchmark tool

Homemade groove cleaner

If I use the cart bag I'll still keep it to a minimum as I hate disorder and clutter..
