CCRyder
I enjoyed the stand bag write up for 2019 and am a big fan of Ping as I currently use a hoofer I recieved in the late 90's and it is still kicking. With that being said I am in the market for a new stand bag with full length dividers and noticed that the following brands were not really featured in the last test. Jones Sport Co. Linksoul Vessel Shapland Stitch Does anyone have experience with these brands vs Ping, Sun Mt. etc. ? golferguy27
I have a couple of Jones bags - like them a lot - one is stand and one is large-ish sunday bag I've also been looking for some cool retro touch and have found a few older "light enough" 40s/50s/60s leather sunday+ type bags So even though I've been a fan of ping bags through the years, I'm finding fun in non club brand and off/no brand vintage HardcoreLooper, AmishJason, BIG STU and 1 other

HardcoreLooper
The only bag on your list that I have experience with is Jones, and their bags are excellent. People (including some forum members), rave about Vessel bags. I think the Cobra Connect Challenge IV competitors received CobraXVessel bags. I have four Sun Mountain 2.5 bags in my garage right now. RickyBobby_PR
For the money the vessel player 2 stand bag is worth the price. I have it with a brand logo on it. CCRyder
Thanks everybody for the feedback I am wrestling with the choice because I have an upcoming trip that I'm blessed to be going on this fall to Ireland and so I'm trying to figure out what I want to take over there and frankly my 25-year-old Ping standbag is still doing its thing but for some reason it feels like with the weather over there and being my first international golf trip would be awesome to take a fancy fresh bag with full dividers. The dividers are about the only real weakness of my current Ping hoofer. That and all the waterproofing on the inside of the bag is worn off since 1996. When I am able to go back to walking I have a ballistic nylon what I thought was a Vagabond which is roomy and light. CCRyder
Well folks after a decent amount of classic golf spy discernment I ended up staying with Ping after having the same brand and bag since I was about 14 it was time for an upgrade and I went with this year's winner for best stand bag. CCRyder
As my wife said my new bag still just feels like me as far as style and I'm glad I held out for the new color combinations in 2021 I like the more muted Navy lettering on teal with gray trim it's not quite as loud as some other contemporary bags.Sent from my Pixel 4 using MyGolfSpy mobile app Quote Triton 10.5 degree regular flex R580 3 & 5 stiff flex Inazone Single Length 4H 5i-SW Cobra Fmax ONE Length regular flex steel Sigma 2 Tyne 4 2021 Hoofer

A Classic non stand new is cheaper than some late model stand bags I have seen the Sun Mountain bags and cried over their price tags. There's a Daiwa Coach Collection leather bag for sale around here for $65, but the $50 shipping is a bit of a turn off. Well, that and I don't know anything about the brand. Sure looks nice though. I found a very cool new, and I believe made in the USA, pencil style canvas bag with wooden stand legs/carrying stick. But, I play with more than 9 clubs, so it's a no go. May as well include a picture for the heck of it. WaffleHouseTour
For a light weight, water proof bag - I’d highly recommend the Titleist Players 4 StaDry stand bag. It’d be great for an over seas trip, and if you are using a caddy I’m sure they’ll appreciate it. But I have to admit, last spring I was really drooling over those Seamus Golf “fescue project” bags. But they are pretty pricey. I also fell for the Flag Bag golf bag - https://flagbaggolfco.com I think those look just awesome, and are clearly caddie friendly. But, there is some serious coin involved. So you might want to save your cash on a new bag, collect the flags from your trip and then have one made after you return home to commemorate the experience and bring back good memories every time you tee it up.
