I guess I would analogize buying a C&L putter to gambling. Remember in college...when you put $50 bucks on a college football game between 2 teams you had almost never even heard of? But when kickoff started you were driving 100mph to get back to the dorm to make sure you did not miss one snap of this otherwise meaningless game. It just made it more interesting to watch when you had something riding on the game. Hell, I remember a game between a couple scrub teams that I watched like it was the super bowl just to see if I one beer money for the next weekend.

$269 for a milled carbon custom? That is fantastic. I love the lines on the putter in the first photo. The naked, square look is excellent.

Someone needs to buy one and chronicle the process from ordering to draining putts.

I love the shape of that first one. It's beautifully square. I'm not sure I like all of the stampings on the other ones though.
