More interesting to me... Midlock. Update on it coming in tomorrow's post it appears from Chris' article. I tried an ER6 for a bit, just didn't get along with it, but maybe with the hosel changes I could find the new weapon. Really cool to see Evnroll go in this direction.

If the Midlock is what I think it is, I think I saw the early prototype for it during a fitting at Evnroll HQ in Dec 2019.

Very interested to see these in person. I'm definitely looking to hit that ER7v back to back with the non-V model and see if there is any difference in feel due to the interchangeable hosel.

Also wondering if these are going to be stocked at retail stores or if they will be a custom order thing only. I don't see too many retailers wanting to keep that much inventory and I doubt they will let you mix and match head/shafts from what they have in stock.

Is there any perceptible difference in feel between a fixed hosel putter and these?

Feel is very subjective.  When I tried them I didn’t feel any difference between a fixed hosel and this one.  Those were all new putters and if people continually switch hosels I could see a chance that fit could be impacted.   This isn’t really new technology;     machine putters have used this type of hosel system for a long time.

I suppose that makes sense, if the feel was bad nobody would buy them.

Never heard of machine putters but now that I've looked them up I can see why....I can only afford to buy a headcover  😝.

I have one! 🙂 I hated it initially so I went back to my ER2 cs and the TourStroke Trainer and yes I used the TST on course.  Then one Saturday I decided it's stupid to have that much money just laying around so I watched some YT vids on armlock and then went to the Par 3 course behind my house and work the heck out of that putter. It's in my bag now and not coming out.

I putt now by just rocking my shoulders and I set my grip with my right hand low and my index finger going down the shaft. I also take a MUCH shorter back stroke. One more thing. I look at the hole on every putt. I line the ball up and check it with my shaft as to where it's pointed. I align the putter to the line on the ball and then build my stance. I lift the putter 1/2" off the green, look at the hole and let it fly.

I won low putts in my league two weeks ago with a 12 (9 holes).
