Glad to hear that; exactly what I’m looking for. PXG had some bangin’ deals during the holidays. I figure if I don’t like it, I can sell it to somebody who will. (But I think I’m going to LOVE IT!)

Well, I'm not going to throw JGR in the bin just yet.  PXG has to prove itself, but it'll get a fair chance.  No clue if anything was ever in that bottle.  Wife probably bought it at Home Goods, LOLZ.

Well, after a VERY mediocre range session today, I can say that I'm impressed with the PXG driver!  I haven't swung the clubs in a few weeks, (we sold our house,  moved, I tweaked my back DURING the move, the holidays...  excuses, excuses, excuses...) and it definitely showed.  The few I hit solidly with this driver were exceptional, however.  May try to get out to play a couple rounds next week where I can see the results on courses I'm familiar with, and maybe get to hit a couple drives on a few holes for comparison purposes.  Looking forward to GOLF2021.

That's a good looking driver! I love the matte black finish on the crown of those, looks really stealthy. I've only seen one of those in the wild, but was impressed seeing it in person. Guy offered to let me hit it, but I politely declined because I couldn't hit water if I fell out of a boat at that time. Have fun hitting it and I can't wait to hear how it works out for you.

This is not helpful to me at all.... Only adding to the fire burning in my pocket to go ahead and order one of these to try!

PXG nailed the look on these from address.  But then again I am a fan of the matte finished stuff.  PXG, PING, and Cobra have some great stealthy looking options.

But seriously... why can you get a banging driver from PXG for less than bedsheets?

My boney elbows and kids constantly wanting to be pulled onto our bed did our last good set in. We’re still on the hunt so I’ll share if I find a good deal.

Most exhilarating car I've ever driven. Definitely more than just about being fast.

Also, for the record, it wasn't mine. A good friend was very successful and in a good financial place when everything hit the fan back in 2009 and got a sweetheart deal. Unfortunately, after 5 years of ownership and $30k+ in maintenance and repairs he decided to sell it for something more reliable.

I did NOT need to see this thread! I love my Honma, but the fittings I did for the 0811 X were REALLY good... $225 shipped is silly. I was fitted to the Even Flow white 7X, which is not offered, so that’s the only “logic” that’s helping me fight this urge!!! Only shaft I could choose is NV green 75X...

PXG is doing everything right currently. They set the market high early on, hand milled, forged, and high quality material. Now resetting the market offering more options to all crowds and price ranges. I remember listening to a podcast with Pat Perez talking about the PXG brand, it was a great sales pitch at the time talking about the justification of what you are actually paying for.

I'll look for the Perez podcast.  I love Pat anyways, it'll be good fun regardless.
