Why do some people have reallllly long golf towels?

I was like a hockey goalie back in the day.  Guys who fired it at you were usually accurate, but the ones who flipped it could toss it anywhere.

I most certainly did. I have been a caddy at Raritan Valley Country Club off 206 for the past 12 seasons since I was 14.

I've always carried a long(er) towel that is draped between the top and middle club slots.

• Woods go in the top left, putter in the top right, 3-5 irons in middle left, 6-8 irons in the middle right, drape the towel over long/mid irons, 9i-PW and wedges in the bottom section.

The right end of the towel is a disgusting mess because it's wet and used for cleaning clubs, balls, shoes (post-round) and the left end is for wiping sweat and the length of the towel both helps with club chatter as well as giving me more space to wipe my face. Growing up in Texas, every round was sweaty, even in January.
