Reporting spammers

Just wanted to post a quick thank you for the many of you who help keep the Forum clean by flagging spam posts. Typically, if you see a post whose text is only slightly coherent and then the post ends with a link to another site, it is very likely spam. This is especially true if the user account is new and this is its first post.

When you see a post like that, feel free to report it. Click the three dot menu in the upper right of the post and click "report." You can add your comment, but most of the time, it's pretty self-evident that the post is spam. With posts that fit the description above, we're pretty quick to ban the user right away. If it was a legit post, the user would contact us to find out what's going on, but I honestly don't recall a single time that that has happened since I joined the Forum staff.

Anyway, just wanted to say thanks for all the help from the rest of you. Given the volume of posting here (even in the off-season), the mods are unlikely to read every thread and every post, so the reporting of our members makes this a better place for us all.

You're definitely on the good list here. We also have guys on the other side of the globe who do a great job of compiling the spammers while we're sleeping over here!

I've done this many times I saw the one today and work happened then i had to close the forum up and forgot to report it. I'm glad other people do it.

Hmm I'm in last place clearly!  I need to step up my game!  Or maybe I'll allow the leaders to take it down the back nine and finish off the tournament.

Bet the bells or tones went off and you had to haul a$$ in a hurry--- Which is very excusable--- My Buddy in Charlotte got off shift at Midnight they have had snow and he has ran 10-50 calls all night.
