In my opinion once you find a good fairway wood that works for you, don't mess with it unless you're certain you're getting a measurable upgrade.  I picked up a Tour Edge CBX 119 3W with an Evenflow Blue last year and it does very well for me...I'm not willing to take a chance of pissing it off by flirting with other FWs.

Couldn’t agree more. I had a aero burner 5w that I got rid of because the fitter I saw said it wasn’t stiff enough for me...now I have a 3w that I struggle with and may replace with a super hybrid

Just picked up a Tour Edge CBX 119 3 wood on Ebay. Always like the Tour Edge fairway woods

Picked up a new Tight Lies 3 & 5 wood from Adams Golf for the upcoming golf season. Use to play the original Tight Lies back in 1995 so if they perform anywhere near the originals I'm gonna  need

I’m good for Fairways. I just upgraded my driver from Cobra F8 to Speedzone Extreme. My fairways are Cobra F8 3-4W, 5-6W & 3 hybrid. The 3-4 is set to 16* and the 5-6 set at 20*. All woods have

I picked up better launch and forgiveness switching my 3W from Epic Flash SZ to a TSi2. The shaft made a lot of difference on the launch (from Atmos black to AD-IZ), but the TSi seems to be consistently more forgiving for me. BUT I still haven't sold the Epic yet because she has been a good one for me especially off the tee... I need to be 300% sure before totally moving on from a 3 wood.

I am thinking about upgrading my 818 h2 hybrid to a more forgiving TSi2 this year, but I think I will test out a 5w/7w as well just to make sure. Why? Well I've never used a higher loft fairway wood before (>16*), and quite frankly, I kindof just want to use a higher lofted fairway wood.

TSi2 fairway will be in my bag this year.  I already have the driver, so after I turn in some clubs for cash, it will be in the bag.  Definitely by early spring, as soon as this damn snow melts. 😤
