Popular Post Urbs_Valhalla
I’ve been working on my indoor simulator setup and I’m almost done. Shipping times were not a bad as I expected. Please let me know what you all think. These are are items I went with: SkyTrax - estimated ship time was 8-12 weeks and I received it in 3. The Net Return Series V2 - net size is perfect for my space (7’8” height, 8’ width, 3’6” depth. They do sell a projector screen to fits over the top, I might add this later on. Country Club Elite Gold mat - my mat size is 5x5. I think a 4x6 would have been the perfect size for the area. Overall this mat is great. It allows you to actually hit “fat” shots unlike more driving range mats. It holds a regular golf tee with no issues. cnosil
I love it; wish I had the space to set something like this up. While the fancy in house simulators are amazing, you have setup a perfectly functional area to get in your practice reps. ejgaudette
Looks like a great set up and I echo that wish I could do something like this but just lack the space, but it's fun to dream as snow falls out my window. cnosil, MattF, Urbs_Valhalla and 1 other 4 Quote Epic Max LS 9° Ventus Blue 6X (2021 Official Review) | Epic Speed 18° Evenflow Riptide 70g 6.0 816 H1 21° Diamana S+ Blue 70 S | SMS 4-5/SMS Pro 6-PW Steelfiber i95 S (2023 Official Review) Glide 4.0 50°.12°S/54°.14°W/58°.6°T PING Z-Z115 Wedge Flex | SOFT 11S Super Stroke Mid-Slim 2.0 Hoofer Bag | Pro V1 | Right Handed | Tracked by V3
juspoole
Just recently did this as well. Before I had a rukket net in the garage which was still nice to be able to swing the club in the winter and hit real golf balls. Still some adjusting to do to get the image a bit more clear, but extremely fortunate to have this. Still would be warm, but possibly manageable. I had to get a space heater to try and get temperature up high enough. Still cold, but not terrible on a thin shot. sirchunksalot 1 Quote Driver: Mavrik Sub Zero 9* (Set to 10) Ventus Blue 6X 2 Hybrid: TSI3 Hybrid Tensei Blue 80 X (17.25*) 3 Hybrid 818 H2 Hybrid Hzrdus RDX Black 6.5 (20.5*) 4 Iron - T200 4 Iron Graphite Design Tour AD IZ X Hybrid Shaft Irons 5-PW: T100-S 5 - GW KBS Tour 130 X Gap/Sand Wedge: Vokey SM6 49* SM8 54* Lob Wedge: Jaws 5 Wedge 58* DG Tour Issue Stiff Putter: Phantom 5.5 34" Pro Platinum Newport 2 35" Taylormade Tour Black Spider 34"

labillyboy
Looks great! Very utile. I love indoor simulators, Top Golf, etc. Nice to go out in the garage and hit a few balls. I am lucky living in So. Cal. with a 360 day golf climate, never need to go inside, just hit balls out of my yard into the canyon behind my house using a cheap launch monitor or go to the nearby driving range. My pro has a place in Northern Cal where they get more rain, he put another garage door on the back of his garage which abuts a large field, has heaters and fans to moderate the temperature, with a Trackman it's a great place to work on your swing, able to see ball flight. He and his dog go out and pick up balls every few days when he runs out, the dog picks them up and drops them in the trailer on his little tractor while he drinks beer. It would be cool to have one of these where you can play different courses and have your buddies over. I was in Chicago in winter my Chicago buddies took me to a bar that had these set up inside, leather chairs, bar, etc. Reminded me of bowling... It was funny walking down the sidewalk with golf bags in a blizzard going from the car to the bar... Good luck with your setup as you add improvements! NotSoMiniTiger
That sim looks great! I caught a video on Vijay singhs twitter the other day of his simulator room. Hyde Park Golf
imma release some trade secret. I own an indoor golf place called hyde park golf. if you want to hang your screen tight like in a professional set up, you basically need to create wooden frame flush to the size of the screen. then use put some 8mm or 9mm rope/cable/metal cable or something that's gonna hold up around the frame (except at the bottom). the cabling system should trace the eyelet of the screen. so measure twice. you need to make it quite tight so you are gonna need something to maintain the tension. that's the tough part. once that's done, you basically thread a long rope around that cabling system.
