Cbfodalo
I just bought a set of Mizuno Mp-100 forged irons. They are supposed to be a special collectors edition for the 100yr mizuno anniversary. I have read they they are excited same shape as mp-33. They where released in 2006, and I read that there where only 2006 sets sold. So I just dropped $305 on a 15 year old Set 3-pw. I plan to really buff them out fix paint fill, regrip and hang on wall, but who knows since they already been played i might just give they a round or two. Will post pics after I receive them. Anyone have and experience with these clubs? Middler
I liked the HM’s, best cast club I hit among all brands I tried, but I liked the JPX900 Forged even more. txgolfjunkie
I got hooked on the 919 Forged and needed to upgrade to the 921 SEL because I have a hoeing problem. I've been playing golf for 30+ years and it wasn't until 2019 that I bought my first Mizuno set. Hoganman1
I love Mizuno irons too. I was a Hogan guy for years. I switched in 2015 to JPX 850 Forged. I recently decided to go with graphite shafts (I'm 71) and luckily found a used set of JPX 900s. I'm only three rounds in and it's Winter, but I think I'm going to like them as well. heribertomaya 1 Quote Drive for Show; Putt for Dough

AmishJason
I demoed a set of the 919HMs last year and most of the clubs didn't impress me, but the gap wedge was amazing. It had some serious suck back on full shots. JPX921 Forged irons are on my short list of irons to demo to replace my current irons. Cbfodalo
I have played lastly callaway, recently rogue cf18, and most recently mavrik max. I really liked the mavrik max, in fact I ordered a set of project x 6.0 steel shafts to lower launch. mavriks are super forging and very long. I really was loving them and only complaint was they are designed to help you get ball up in air and I really do kot need help there. I was happy with what was my 4th set of callaway irons. I bought the jpx-919 hot metal irons on a whim. Really a backup set or a set to play while I was swapping out shafts on mavriks. After 1 round with mizunos, my mind was changed. Put callaways on ebaybthat night. After 3 rounds its definitive. So both clubs are forgiving. Mavriks are a little longer. JPX are easier to control. And my dispersion. Is tighter. Now this could be that the jpx came with tt tour issue new concept x100 shafts, the mavriks had the elevate 105. So shaft is variable. Feel, when I say feel I am jot so much talking about ball striking but for me it's a turf interaction issue. The mizunos just feelnlike they glide through strike zone. Crisp, clean and effortless are words that come to mind. The callaways feel chunky, slow and steady. Car analogy, Callaway Mavriks and Rogues is to American muscle car where Mizuno is to Porxh 911 Turbo S Quote Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero 9.0 driver, aldila rogue white 130msi 70x Callaway Mavrik Sub Zero 3w and 5w Aldila rogue white 130 msi 70s Callaway Mavrik 7w aldila rogue white 130msi 70S Mizuno JPX-919 hot metal 5-lw, tt tour new concept x1 shafts Odessey triple track 7 putter.
