ATT Pebble Beach - 2021

This is no kidding.
When we 1st got to FL and I needed a haircut we went to a one of the “local” barbershop. The barber (maybe?) was using a clipper set from Rural King, the local animal/feed store.
Did not return there....

The Air Force took mine. Almost hard to believe I had Stuart Appleby hair for awhile.  Funny thing is I've maintained a "military-ish cut" ever since and hate when my hair gets long and thick.

Sounds like the one in town here (small, small town)...barber / bait shop / fishing charter....Get a little off the top and dip some minnows from the bait bucket via the trap door over the crick in the back room all in one stop!

Yes it was!  That was a hell of a lot of draw on an 8 iron too.

I’m going to be beside myself ecstatic if he wins tomorrow, and inconsolable if he doesn’t.

And do not forget BIL plays golf and hawks balls on the side. There is also a 5 gallon bucket of balls .75 each or 4 for $2 in the back room

Two things about that 'draw' he hit...

When I hit a draw with that covers that much distance right to left its called a hook!

And when I hit a shot with that shape it usually has overspin and would have bounced off the green by about 15 yards.

I was most amazed by the bite it had when it hit the green.

Even more amazing is it was a mud ball and he adjusted his shot to assume more draw as he saw the mud on the right side of the ball. 
 

I hope he does great today as it would be good for him to win again. Unfortunately I fear he had some smoke and mirrors with his third round and he may disappoint again today. Hope not.

Uh ho... some early nerves showing for Jordan.  But maybe at this juncture, he plays better chasing than trying to keep a lead. He stated that his goal going into todays round was to arrive on #18 with a chance to win.

Just noted that Lashley is a PING staffer and bagging the i210's... all the way through.  Never paid much attention to him but he seems pretty intense on the playing field.

Sling TV pulled the same Sunday, halfway thru the final round, bye-bye .... but, thankfully, I'm able to watch on the local channel .  Who is this Kevin Streelman?  Yes, I know who he is but I'm asking who this guy is?  Not the same guy on my roster as last season.  This is what I really like about tour golf.  Unlike team sports, the old adage "on any given day" is so true.

I’m not sure how the coverage hasn’t really shown any shots lately for other players in contention. Their is a log jam at the top and I swear I’ve seen shots from about 4-5 guys only the last 45 minutes

I just hope the people on the beach were paying attention when Molinari teed off on 10. That’s a pretty remarkable tee box.

Streelman finished 2nd last year.

Unfortunately, JS did not have a great start on the easier front nine today and is forced to play catch-up.  A so-so weekend round yesterday with a lucky hole-out, and it looks like another one today.  He seems close, but can't seem to score on the weekends like he should.

Yes, I've noticed that as well.  Every once in awhile they'll do a quick collage of shots from the rest of the field but 95% of the coverage is on the top 5.  One wouldn't think it very costly to have a couple more camera crews spread around the course.  Perhaps its just related to not having the fans?

Yes, prior to my acquiring him .  Jordan's last drive mimicked a couple of my driver ball flights yesterday.  He has been scrambling pretty good and hanging around, but needs some laser beam like holes down the stretch to have any hope.

Ohhh Jordan...you should have listened to Michael.  What a fun exchange between them on that approach.  Jordan's last comment "you were right Mikey".  Thankfully having to factor in adrenaline isn't something most of us have to worry about.
