Popular Post jaywelby34
Pulled the trigger on Sub 70 699 Pro irons. Jason, the CEO was very helpful. I went through a local fitting, gave him the numbers and we settled in. Have only hit them on the range so far but love them! Was thinking the same as you. My handicap is a 12. All I can tell you is hit one, use their demo program. I suspect you’ll be surprised in a good way. I’m in irons I never thought I would swing and the numbers don’t lie, should have been hitting them sooner. Pulled the trigger and, when they arrived, they were even better looking than the pics. I'm an 11-12 hcp....love them. They are very forgiving. I got the 699/699 Pro combo.....pros start at the 8 iron. I think they will very playable for you. The blade length on the 699s is just a hair longer than the 699 Pros, and the offset is a little more pronounced. Honestly, looking at the transition between the 699 6 Iron and the 699 Pro 7 iron, you'd think it was just a progressive offset set. The difference from the top between the two models blends very well and is not jarring in the least bit.
