Yupiteru JDM Launch Monitor (SOLD)

Gauging interest in selling a JDM launch monitor I have had for about 2 years to help with the purchase of a Mevo because I want to work on bringing my spin rate down. Gives you club head speed, ball speed, carry distance and smash factor. Because it is JDM, it gives speeds in m/s but carry distances are in yards. I usually just multiply by 2.2 to get MPH for swing speeds. I did contact the company to find out if there was a setting to change to MPH since you can actually see that there is an MPH readout on the display but they said it is not possible. You can track your shot data as it saves to a removable micro SD card (16GB included) or can link to your phone via BT to view data and also to change your club selection etc. There is an option to adjust ball speeds by a factor for say hitting range balls which I thought was a cool function. I believe the setting is also used to account for different lofts for different brand clubs. This way if you know you normally carry your 7I X distance but it keeps telling you over/under you can adjust the distance factor up or down to compensate. It is rechargeable through a micro USB cable which I am sure everyone has many lying around but I do have the original charger it comes with. Unfortunately I don't have the original box anymore but I did save the printed instruction manual. The included instructions are in Japanese but I do have a translated version that gives you all the relevant instructions in PDF in somewhat readable English lol. I can email it to the buyer or anyone just looking for a good laugh! Works well and gives accurate data (compared to my friend's Skytrak). It is a mini-radar doppler unit so works both indoors and out. It is going for 170 USD new on Amazon so I would be willing to part with it for about $85 plus shipping. I will include a rangefinder carrying case that I have been using as a case for the unit. Make an offer!

Out of curiosity, can it measure swing speed only without a ball?

It can. You don't have to hit a ball to measure club head swing speed.
