Pupini
I've decided to finally get fit for a putter and I wanted to see if anyone has experience with the PGA Superstore Tour Van putter fitting? Or the Club Champion putter fitting. PGA Superstore is closer and I have a 50% off coupon. Thanks in advance. jddaigneault
Go wherever they have a quintic ball roll system. Best putter fitting equipment out there. I believe club champion uses SAM, which is not as good. Larryd3
I did my putter fitting a couple years ago at Club Champion. Great experience and I'm still using the same putter which for me is surprising. They do use the SAM putting lab which is the only one that I have experience with so I can't comment on the post above. I do know that they spent a lot of time with me to get the fitting correct and helped me understand my putting stroke and why the certain fitting points were important. aerospace_ray 1 Quote TM Sim2 Max 10.5 Ping G410 5 wood Ping G410 7 & 9 woods PXG Gen 5 0311P 5-gap PXG forged 54 & 58 wedges PXG Operator H w/ BGT Stability shaft Link to comment
jddaigneault
SAM uses club data by attaching a gauge to the shaft of the club that links with a computer. It measures path/loft/etc. It is largely input based. Quintic measures ball data. How much dynamic loft are you putting on the ball, spin, etc. It is largely output based. Having used both, my preference is quintic as it does not impact your golf stroke. I think SAM makes it natural to try and “beat the machine”. Both systems are excellent, I think quintic takes the edge in my experience. ballplayer002003, null and cnosil 2 1 Quote Taylormade M5 Driver Cobra F9 3 Wood Srixon ZX5 4-6 Iron Srixon ZX7 7-PW Taylormade MG2 Wedges 50/55/60 Taylormade Spider X Putter Link to comment

Pupini
Thanks guys. I'm very familiar with Quintic and Paul Hurrion. I'll see if I can find a location that uses it. Maybe I'll try both and see if there are any differing outcomes. TBT
The problem with the Quintic system is finding someone who uses it, there are only 2 in the whole state of Texas and none within 300 miles of me.Sent from my iPad using MyGolfSpy jddaigneault 1 Quote XR Driver Matrix Ozik 8m3 Black Tie Shaft King F7 3W UST Mamiya Chrome Elements 7F4 Shaft King F7 5W UST Mamiya Chrome Elements 7F4 Shaft King F7 4 Hybrid Graphite Designs Tour AD-HY 95 Shaft PXG 0211 DC 5-PW Mitsubishi MMT 80 Shafts RTX ZIPCORE 50*,54*,58* UST Mamiya Recoil 95 Shafts Metal X Milled #7 with SuperStroke 2.0 grip MTB Twitter: @timldotson Instagram: timldotson Facebook: TimDotson Link to comment
