In general for the amount of weight used it's a non issue.  In theory yes it's possible, but really the few grams of weight that it usually takes to adjust swing weight just isn't enough to make anything move a significantly relevant distance to affect the outcome of a shot.

Head weights range from 200g driver to 300g lob wedge.

2g tip weight is 1% of a driver head and 0.67% of a wedge head weight

4g tip weight ia 2% of a driver head and 1.3% of a wedge head weight

8g tip weight 4% of a driver head and 2.67% of a wedge head weight

By my best guestimation, that would be no more than 1/16 of an inch on a wedge and no more than 1/8 of an inch of a move of the COG at the highest 8g tip weight.

Usually, the addition of tip weights to irons would be somewhat consistent from club to club, so the movement of the COG would also be consistent. The player would naturally adjust to it through practice.

Good luck.
