crope1 26
Has anyone hit both? I want/need a forgiving driver, and I have hit the the 425, and it is impressive. I never hit the G400 Max, but I was curious if it was in the same ball park. For half the price of the 425, I am thinking about getting one of those before I buy a brand new driver (I think it is crazy the cost of drivers these days.)
MNUte 102
Here's the comp between the 410 and the 425, so I'd say that should be a good half step of seeing the comparison. It seems like the 425 has just continued refining rather than providing a massive overhaul. So they should be fairly close. Edited February 16 by MNUte Expanding. fixyurdivot 10,593
I just recently tested both at a Truespec fitting. The G425's offered no substantial gain over my G410P in distance or dispersion, but the SFT model was most consistent. Here is another thread on the subject that may help. Definitely test both (on a LM is possible). Unless the G425 rocks your world, the G410's can be obtained at a discounted price - though some of the no cost shaft upgrades may be limited. Good luck, have fun! RSS 10
I have hit the G400 Max, owned the G410 Plus and am looking to upgrade to the G425 max. I would say the difference for me is the shaft. I really like the Tensei Orange Raw 55 shaft offered with the new model. If money is an issue, not much difference in the 3 heads.
