Have you golfed more or less due to the pandemic?

Ive golfed more, mostly because I was on furlough for 6 weeks and had nothing but time last spring.

Probably down a bit. I normally travel 2 nights a week and take my clubs, so without the travel I’ve really only played on Sundays. I’m guessing I’m down two rounds a month on average.

I've golfed less, but it's been because of weather/season, not the virus for me.  Tournament play has been down, as many were cancelled because of social distancing concerns.

Less. Was playing twice a week and now just once. Was practicing a couple times a week as well. Until school opens full time it will stay this way.

I played less last year, not so much pandemic related, but because of work and weather. After we returned from our furlough of 7 weeks we made up for it working late and a lot of Saturday's. I think I worked over 9 extra weeks last year in overtime. I know it was over 360 hours.

Definitely golfed more. It was really one of the only things you could do last spring/summer.

Less because of the shutdown in March/April, but after that... about the same.  However, it's more difficult to get a tee time; more people playing than in years past.

Definitely played more last year than I usually do. When the courses were walking only, most people stayed away and I was there regularly. I also like to go for the early morning tee times. Course is starting to get busy as I make the turn and I am clear of almost everyone else.

Two big contributing factors:

1. Funds ran extremely low for a 6+mo stretch. I didn't want to interact with the public for the off chance of passing Covid to loved ones. 

2. The cost to golf went up dramatically in my area due to the new found popularity of golf because it was the only activity available which also made tee times tougher to get. 

I'm my region of Orange County CA there is a golf management company called American Golf that manages quite a few municipal courses within a 30 mile radius. They had a very attractive membership to my local course which included 100 practice balls a day in the range and no cart fee for golf with a free beverage with the round. Additionally, they had a feature allowing you to get the same discounted rate at their sister courses for a $1 extra reservation fee online and you pay the green fee at the course. But, Covid eliminated the use of sister courses, green fees went up, and carts are now extra. 

Before Covid: weekday twilight round after 1pm was $10 with a cart and an adult beverage at my home course. Similar rates in the $13-20 range at sister courses with the same deal and a $1 reservation fee. 

After Covid: no sister course discounts, $15 to walk, $28 to ride and no beverage

The membership was $34 per month with is still with it for the range balls. I will probably sign up next month again. I miss the cheap greens fees with options.

Played less for sure. That was mostly due to a late start and I was really trying to avoid interactions with people I didnt know.

I played about the same amount however the make up was very different. I played more locally due to Covid related travel restrictions. So all my out of town/ state events were cancelled. But I did fill that time with playing more at home. My course was never shut down so that helped.

My first child was born in October, lockdown in March. So while I'm not golfing as much as before baby, I did get to play more than I expected.

I golf about the same but I did more twilight 9 holes in stead of the 18 on the weekend because a lot of the courses were packed .. good thing a lot of my buddies I grew up playing sports with all started to play due to being laid off and made my golf circle bigger.

A lot less.  Due to lockdown and courses not able to open.
