Odyssey 2-Ball Ten

GolfSpy MPR

Recommended Posts

You ever see a club release and think, "Thank you, OEM, for designing a club just for me"? Because I have.

I'm really excited to try the 2-Ball Ten when it is released. I have used the Odyssey R-Ball in the past, and the alignment there was incredibly helpful for me. I have a Spider Platinum that I also get along with well. Based on my current putter, a 2-Ball Ten S (thinking maybe the Tour Line version), 34", maybe with the red Stroke Lab shaft—yep, I think that would work nicely.

Anyone else intrigued? I'm also up for comments when people start getting them in their hands.

2-ball Ten S Triple Track. Not sure there is any way this will not find its way into my bag.

Have always liked the two ball, a tually played with a guy that had a three ball way back. Probably won't get one since I just got a new litter but would be interested in trying for sure. That alignment just makes sense to me.

It is a great putter. I have a ten s from last year and when I tried the 2 ball version I was impressed with how it performed. The look is slightly different than the Ten I have and I prefer the older look. If I could add the 2 ball option to my putter I would make the modification.

If you are looking for a mallet that has that spider look this would be a good option.

I’d like to do a fitting for this series of putters to see which one I matched with. I’ve always liked the original 2-ball, and I like mallets, so it would be cool to see which one would work best for me.

Remember, folks, we take 2-3 shots per HOLE with a putter. Of all the clubs in your bag for which to be fit, putter is the ONE.

I like the thick long solid line on that model of ten putter.  I'll bet it's easy to line it up.  If I can ever find one of those for a good price I may have to try one.  Hoping to try the new 2-ball Ten S with the Tour Line though.

I rolled a Ten S today. It was 3” too long but man did I love the feel. I holed so many mid-range putts. I think I’ll still wait to see about the two ball tour line to try that, but the Ten S is pure.

I went ahead and bought a 2020 Stroke Lab Ten S today on Callaway Pre-Owned. ‘Like new’ condition normally $235 they had it on sale for $175! If I end up liking the new tour line two ball I’m sure I’ll get my money back no problem. They are going for mid $225-250 on eBay and Facebook Marketplace right now. I just loved rolling it so much the other day that I had to get one. My son was egging me on at the store saying, “Just buy it dad! You’re automatic with it!” Lol have to love encouraging kids...

I was going to say, I’ve never seen you putt poorly with you Stroke Lab 7S. Better not make it jealous or it’ll loose it’s fire.

No this is the most consistent putting i have had since moving to the Stroke Lab Seven S, Not since the Spider Long Legs. I did see the new TaylorMade Spider RS, which now I want to try and see.

You don’t have to play a triple track ball to make it effective. The purpose of any alignment aid is to obtain consistent setup. If those lines help you place the putter behind a ball more consistently then they are beneficial

I'm really new to club coveting game but this is the first one that I can't wait until it comes out. Just fits my eye really well. Currently gaming a KS1 and roll it pretty well for a beginner but think I have more of a straight back and through stroke so would love to try out a mallet.

Tried the 2-Ball Ten.. good solid feel, the 2 ball was easier to aligned than I remember before. The Spider look and feel was great.
Not enough performance difference to displace the Stroke Lab Seven s , BUT if started to misbehave i would really consider this version.

Tried the Triple Track also, the lines bother my eyes, too busy for me.

Yeah I use a srixon yellow ball with a single black line for alignment so I think the tour line is going to be a great setup for me

You don’t have to play a triple track ball to make it effective. The purpose of any alignment aid is to obtain consistent setup. If those lines help you place the putter behind a ball more consistently then they are beneficial

Exactly however if you want to try the three line ball you can easily use your favorite ball and pickup this handy ball marker:  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B081L51RRF/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

This is a weird thing to vouch for but I bought that ball marker and it works great. Have used it to make single marks and three and works great.

Anybody know if these putters are available at fitters for fitting for preorder. I'm a little taller so thinking I'll at least need something a little longer and would rather spend a little money to get properly fitted for something I can use for years than guess. Do fitters typically get these in advance or is it something I'll need to wait until they drop?

Yup!  I use it on my Bridgestone yellow balls and it looks great.
