GolfSpy BOS
Oh my! No PING?! Another nice test, interesting to see that Callaway moved to a more PING LST-like spin story (low but playable) and claimed the crown. I haven’t hit that one yet but I want to. TCUfrog
I was fitted for the Cobra Radspeed back in January. Glad to see what my fitting showed is matching up with the test results. After a few range sessions and one round, I'm feeling much more confident at address with the Radspeed. Hopefully going to get in a few rounds this week with good weather on the horizon for Georgia, but I'll say the distance gains and consistent launch i'm getting right now have been substantial compared to my old Taylormade M6. sirchunksalot, B_R_A_D_Y, MGoBlue100 and 2 others 5 Quote RadSpeed 10.5, Motore X F1 60 X-Stiff RadSpeed 14, Motore X F1 60 Stiff M6, 4H 22.0 JPX 921 Hot Metal Pro, 4-PW, Nippon Modus 105 MG3 52, 56, 60, SB - Black White Hot OG #7 Vice Golf Pro Plus Smart Sensors

gmdeac10
This definitely changes my thought process going into the fitting. I was thinking that G425 Max and RadSpeed XB were my top 2. The Ping is definitely lower now and I'm going to need to try both the Callaway Max and Max LS as well as TSI2. I was always low on SIM2 Max due to lack of adjustability, and nothing in the data changes that. At the end of the day numbers in the fitting will direct me towards the best club, but this changes my perception of them going in. Kansas King
I think this test is interesting. I wouldn't recommend crossing out any drivers just because a brand wasn't in the top 10 (Ping). The numbers are probably all really close and you might find that driver #20 gives you the optimum spin and flight to maximize distance and forgiveness. If this test shows anything, it's that price point may not necessarily drive performance. I'll would be curious to see the data and how close all these drivers actually are. For all we know the top 10 drivers could be within a yard of each other distance wise. juspoole
I'm looking at it as Ping has been ahead of most other companies and they are now only starting to bridge that gap with technology. Definitely surprised at results, especially after watching and reading so many reviews. Assumed Titleist would be up there, but still can't believe how well the G410 did with the new crop. It's not really a useful means of comparing the two as the averages don't tell you enough about the actual data sets. You would need to examine the Callaway and PXG statistics with the dispersion pattern to get a fuller picture. Based on a quick glance, the PXG has ranges from 160-320 yards whereas Callaway was 170-310. The Callaway also only had one ball at 175 or below whereas the PXG had 9. The rankings are made through the strokes gained analysis, but MGS includes the averages table cause people always complain when they don't.Sent from my Pixel 2 using MyGolfSpy mobile app 03trdblack, bens197, JohnSmalls and 8 others 11 Quote DRIVER PXG 0811XF GEN4 (10.5°) FAIRWAY WOODS PXG 0341XF GEN4 (16°) HYBRIDS PXG 0317XF GEN4 (19°), PXG 0317X GEN4 (22°) IRONS PXG 0311T GEN3 (5 - 9) WEDGES TAYLORMADE MG3 (45°, 50°, 55° TW Grind, 60° TW Grind) PUTTER PXG BATTLE READY ONE & DONE
