Interesting statement on the CG and wedges being BS when TXG posted a wedge video that talked about the CG location and how it impact flight and spin. Not saying either is right or wrong; just an observation since I can’t prove one way or the other. CG is actually outside of the wedge club head when it’s at address. When hanging perfectly vertical, it might be in the head, but once the club is grounded and ready for use, CG is outside the head on an angle from the shaft above the head. With driver, this is not the case since the size of the head allows area away from the shaft. TXG isn’t studying true CG, they’re studying/displaying differences from a purely weighting standpoint. They’re just using the marketing language as the basis. Physics doesn’t allow the CG to be in the wedge head at address. Grab your wedge and hold it vertically. Then hold it an angle similar to how it would be at address. It’s impossible now for the TRUE “center of gravity” to be in the head. 3 Quote Driver: King F9 Speedback, Xphlexxx Busa 2 Liquid, XX stiff, 45” Fwy: Hybrid: X2 Hot Pro, 20*, Rombax 8D07HB TM27 X Irons: TR20 Tour P 4/5, Tour V 6-10, Dynamic Gold X100 Wedges: Vega VW-06 50*/54*/58*, Dynamic Gold S400 Putter: EAS 1.
