Cobra King Ltd pro(2015) - 2021 Bryson Witb

Watching Bay Hill today, was looking at Bryson's driver and noticed it wasn't the Radspeed. He is playing a now 6 year old driver, cobra king Ltd pro. I remember the love for that club then, but still kind of surprising. 

Chances cobra trys to start marketing it?

I think I read somewhere that he has a few of those heads because they match up better with his attack angle and speed.  Also in the even he breaks his gamer.  

I haven’t seen any sort of official word on why he was using it this week though, but I remember similar stuff last year with that head vs his speedzone head too.

I also read or heard somewhere that he said the RADspeed was doing something funky in the air at his speed. He was playing a 4.2* loft RAD and the LTD is around 7* so maybe he just wanted more control 🤯

Those LTD drivers for guys with speed were phenomenal. Obviously Bryson fits that profile.

Think of the pickle he's putting the company in. They spent how much in R&D and marketing to push out the RAD? and their 1 guy who's doing anything special at the moment is playing a 6 year old driver. I'm sure there was a clause somewhere that requires him to mention the RAD in every interview. 

BTW, I'd probably still have the driver now but I played that murdered out LTD for a season and loved it! The space window cracked and I couldn't get it out of the head so I sent it to Cobra to repair.. they ended up sending me an F8+ in return. they probably couldn't find another LTD to replace it with because they were all in Bryson's safe in his basement. Now it all makes sense..

I went and found the post round interview to hear what he actually said, and all he says is  "...I need to thank my sponsors...   ...Cobra RadSpeed..."

So he doesn't say anything that isn't accurate. 

Still... now I kinda want a King LTD pro, and ebay only has two. None of the other used club places I normally look even have them. Bryson must have bought them all.

The Cobra LTD Pro (and non-Pro model) keep the COG further back right on the neutral axis than any other driver since 2015. (And probably any before 2015)
It is (theoretically) the best combination of low spin and forgiveness in any driver since 2015.

We know this because of the MGS Center Of Gravity reports.

Unfortunately MGS did not create a report for 2020, and have not given any indication of continuing the reports.

I somewhat remember reading that BAD has some engineered-for-him LTD heads, that are a couple degrees lower lofted than the standard LTD Pro.

I just can't picture him needing a 7* LTD Pro when he's using a 4.something RAD.
