Golf Caused Daylight Savings Time?

Alright, so the history rumors state that William Willet, one of the chief proponents of DST in England, wanted the change to allow more time for GOLF?!?!

Anyway, I guess it works out well for us, but who knew that Golf was one of the main reasons for the adoption of DST and all you guys getting your time mixed up today

In Scotland we run at GMT and BST. when I was working I always thought being 400 miles north of London and further north than Montreal we should have our own time zone. Sunrise is  currently 6:26 and sunset 6:22, if we were already on BST I would have time for a full round after work.

I love DLST because I an play weeknights And Sunday after church easily.

I hate changing the clocks, the older I get, the harder it gets - pick one, either one and let’s be done with it.

Just had my last spring forward time change,,,, moving to AZ this summer no mas time changes !!!
