First Round of the Season Results

The end of another winter that stops me from playing golf for much too long gets me thinking about how the first round of a season goes. Some years its pretty good as I have limited other expectations, other years I seem to have forgotten how to play the game all together. This winter I put in more time than usual on my swing and have probably swung a club at least every week, which has not been the case previously. So who knows how this year will go.

For others who suffer winter the way I do how does that first round go? It is a slog, or does it surprise you by being pretty good? Anything you feel helps you shake off the rust? Really share anything so I can keep getting excited about the season as I sit waiting for the snow to finish melting up here.

My first round, I just enjoy the fact that I'm playing golf again. I go in with zero expectations. If I shoot 105, well it's better than doing yardwork or sitting in front of my computer working all day.

My first round is usually the first evening of league.... April. I just go out and play and what happens, happens...lol.

Last year I shot 37 on the front 9 first time out. Who knows this year???
