First name: Don

City/State:  North East, Maryland (but also frequently play in Delaware and Pennsylvania)

I started walking rounds in 2020 with Covid restrictions. I’ve learned to love it. I found I play better when each shot could cost me extra steps 🙂

My stead is a Bag Boy M-310

I walk and carry most rounds( 75-100) per year.  Pinehurst just stared letting push carts on their courses, and given the terrain, a motorized cart is on the horizon.

Thanks

I am outside playing golf 7 days a week dusk to dawn in the summer, and it would be great to have this push cart so I could play more holes every day without getting tired. It would also be great for my amateur tournaments where I couldn’t find a caddy, so I get someone to carry my bag for free.

Hello,

I recently joined my first club, for several reasons, one of which was to be able to play rounds almost whenever I can/want;but, also to play rounds that do not take 5 hours and the chance to walk more often, as my wif has recently taken up golf and I can double down and combine our walks with 9-18 holes.

Lebanon, PA - Iron Valley Golf Club

Currently walk about 40% of the time; not money friends who want to walk.

Current walk cart - Bag Boy Quad XL

Matt Wallington NJ, I walk the majority of my rounds. Usually unless I'm with my wife... plays 3 or 4 times a year with me. I don't have a cart right now. Carry it on my left shoulder. Would love a cart!

 Testers Wanted (4)

When the pandemic hit last year, lots of things changed in golf. Courses were closed for a while, then they reopened with restrictions. One of those restrictions involved cart use. Either courses prohibited two people--not from the same household--from sharing a golf cart, or people just felt more comfortable not sitting a foot from a total stranger for the better part of four to five hours. So many golfers took to foot, as in walking for their rounds.

Motocaddy_M7 Blog Pic.jpg

The result created a demand like never seen before in push carts, with many companies selling out of them by May. Another area that had huge success was the electric push carts segment.  After all, given the choice would you rather:

A: Carry a 25-pound bag for all five miles
B: Push that 25-pound bag for all five miles
C: Just, you know, walk for all five miles

Ask about anyone, and  nearly all reasonably non-maniacal types would pick C.

That's where MOTOCADDY and it's M5 & M7 series comes in.

According to staff writer, John Barba, "using the remote-control Motocaddy M7 is like having R2D2 as your caddie."

But we want to know what our readers think. We are looking for current walkers/push cart users, who are open to trying an electric push cart. We are looking for both men and women testers, that reside in the US.

We want you to test/review and keep the MOTOCADDY and let our membership know what you think.
