J.Kevin.Montgomery@ADP.com 0
Kevin Montgomery Salt Lake City, UT Walked occasionally before Covid; a lot during Covid. My home course has elevation changes on almost every hole so an electric cart would greatly improve walkability. Currently use a simple pull cart. I've been researching nicer push carts and electric carts. DFR22 0
I’d be glad to give your cart a full assessment. I’m a member at St. Louis CC (#78 Golf Mag top 100), and a number of my friends have just purchased the Aussie QOD electric cart. The electric revolution has begun...and not just with all the Tesla’s and Audi e-tron’s in our parking lot. SLCC is an extremely hilly CBM track...and a offers a good test for electric carts. If the recent trend is proven successful with on course performance ...our membership will snap-up a number of these products. Thought we have a robust caddy program, push carts have gained in popularity over the past number of years. I’ve had two click gear 3.5’s since maybe 2007 or so. Typically I play 100-120 rounds annually, and though my preference is to use a push cart, I’ll take a caddy occasionally, and I also own a lithium powered Club Car Onward when I need a break or when the weather is uncooperative. Michaelmcfly 0
Name: Michael City & State: Steamboat Springs, CO Do you currently walk the majority of your rounds: Yes, 2-4 rounds/week Do you use a push cart now, if yes which one. No, due to the elevation differences in Steamboat (up to 800 ft at Catamount, 300 at Rollingstone) push carts are harder than walking with clubs on my back. I’d be interested in testing to see how the cart performs on hills, and how the battery holds out for an entire round. Michael
