Testers Announced (4) MOTOCADDY Electric Cart

Recommended Posts

North Augusta, South Carolina

Yes, I walk the majority of my rounds. A rough estimate would be 85% of my rounds

I do use a pushcart, its a clicgear 8.0, but it has recently started breaking down 😞

Walked occasionally before Covid; a lot during Covid. My home course has elevation changes on almost every hole so an electric cart would greatly improve walkability.

Currently use a simple pull cart. I've been researching nicer push carts and electric carts.

I would have to say this is a great opportunity to test one of these bad motha shut your mouth.  Lol. But this would  be perfect for my wife , she is new to golf and she has been bitten by the bug. She is a high school teacher here in Sacramento, Ca. And when i say she wants to golf every chance we get i mean it. She love being able to walk a course and this would make life so much easir for her.

I'm a 64 year old returning to golf after a 3 year haiatus, and I want to walk most of my rounds if possible, and this seems like a great option.  Also, being a reviewer would give me a legit excuse with the wifey to head to the course..!!

In any case, will be very interested to read the review, and Good Luck to all who apply.

I’d be glad to give your cart a full assessment. I’m a member at St. Louis CC (#78 Golf Mag top 100), and a number of my friends have just purchased the Aussie QOD electric cart.  The electric revolution has begun...and not just with all the Tesla’s and Audi e-tron’s in our parking lot. SLCC is an extremely hilly CBM track...and a offers a good test for electric carts. If the recent trend is proven successful with on course performance ...our membership will snap-up a number of these products. Thought we have a robust caddy program, push carts have gained in popularity over the past number of years. I’ve had two click gear 3.5’s since maybe 2007 or so. Typically I play 100-120 rounds annually, and though my preference is to use a push cart, I’ll take a caddy occasionally, and I also own a lithium powered Club Car Onward when I need a break or when the weather is uncooperative.

We have a golf league that travels to 14 different public courses, so we see a lot of different terrain and conditions

Play about 40+ rounds a year.

walk 20+ of those with a TourTrek 3 wheel

I walk pretty much all the time. Have not been in a cart once this year.

I used to use a Spyder pull cart, but have been carrying my bag for the past few months.

City & State:  Steamboat Springs, CO

Do you currently walk the majority of your rounds:  Yes, 2-4 rounds/week

Do you use a push cart now, if yes which one.  No, due to the elevation differences in Steamboat (up to 800 ft at Catamount, 300 at Rollingstone) push carts are harder than walking with clubs on my back.  I’d be interested in testing to see how the cart performs on hills, and how the battery holds out for an entire round.

Incredible first test opportunity from MGS...good luck; I'm sure we'll see some very worthy testers selected.  This will be fun to follow.

Walk 90% of rounds, some flat and some foothill courses, and anywhere from 5 to 9 miles of walking per round.  On pace for another 70 rounds this year, just like last year.

I use a 4-wheel Caddytek purchased about 6-8 years ago.
