Testers Announced (4) MOTOCADDY Electric Cart

Recommended Posts

Brian

Victoria, TX

Full time walker 3-4 days a week.

Rolling with a Clicgear 3.0

Prepping for a 7 round Bandon Dunes trip in May has me pushing extra holes right now and my lower back definitely feels those bad angles on the emergency loop. It would be privilege to push a MotoCaddy to its limits over the next couple of months and find out how many extra holes per gallon it means I can squeeze out of this aging body.

Do you currently walk the majority of your rounds: Yes, I've only been in a cart once in the past year.  I used my push cart on all the rest of my rounds (try to get out a couple times a week) and we're year-round here in Nor-Cal.

Do you use a push cart now, if yes which one: Yes, I use the Bag Boy Quad (Top-Lok is a great system).

I would love to try this MotoCaddy.

I currently use a BatCaddy. I walk ~4-5 rounds a week. I've had my BatCaddy about 16 months. I'd love to see how the MotoCaddy stacks up.

I'm in the Pacific Northwest near Seattle.

Christopher

I walked 80 of my 100 rounds in 2020, about the same in 2019 as well.

I use the Bag Boy Quad (the four wheels are supposed to be better on hilly courses, and I play a couple very hilly courses). Here is the kicker that will either disqualify me, or allow me to give you some interesting insights... I have the Alphard eWheels V1 attached to the cart for the last two seasons.

I’m interested in comparing - how easy/hard does it tip or get stuck on hills, does it stay straight on side hills, does it maintain speed over 18 holes or slow down, can it really go 36, distance fr cart to remote or does it shut down, responsiveness, how much space it takes up in the trunk/portability, time to recharge etc.  I’d love to compare.  While I love my eWheels, I’m also using bungee cords to hold up the wheelies, I have to help it on hills, and it has limited speed, especially on the back nine - but has also been a back saver.

Good luck to all!  Anything to get more walkers out there.
