Testers Announced (4) MOTOCADDY Electric Cart

Recommended Posts

i walk and carry, push, or put my bag on a cart and have them drive while I walk.
I used to have a Sun Mountain, but someone stole it 😞

I love to walk with a caddy, such a great experience.

Too bad my Golden can’t caddy for me!

 Testers Wanted (4)

When the pandemic hit last year, lots of things changed in golf. Courses were closed for a while, then they reopened with restrictions. One of those restrictions involved cart use. Either courses prohibited two people--not from the same household--from sharing a golf cart, or people just felt more comfortable not sitting a foot from a total stranger for the better part of four to five hours. So many golfers took to foot, as in walking for their rounds.

The result created a demand like never seen before in push carts, with many companies selling out of them by May. Another area that had huge success was the electric push carts segment.  After all, given the choice would you rather:

A: Carry a 25-pound bag for all five miles
B: Push that 25-pound bag for all five miles
C: Just, you know, walk for all five miles

Ask about anyone, and  nearly all reasonably non-maniacal types would pick C.

That's where MOTOCADDY and it's M5 & M7 series comes in.

According to staff writer, John Barba, "using the remote-control Motocaddy M7 is like having R2D2 as your caddie."

But we want to know what our readers think. We are looking for current walkers/push cart users, who are open to trying an electric push cart. We are looking for both men and women testers, that reside in the US.

We want you to test/review and keep the MOTOCADDY and let our membership know what you think.

Very cool start to the testing. I'll sit this one out as I'm happy with my Clicgear 4.0 and don't mind pushing the bag around.  Also, I wouldn't be able to start testing until probably June.

The testing could sway me that this is truly worth it.  Look forward to following along.

Kevin in Blythewood, SC.

I have not historically walked much, but having a young son starting to play on junior tours has us both walking more and using no name push carts from Amazon.  Would love to give this puppy a try on our regular outings.

Thanks for the opportunity!

Name: Young

Location: Bothell, WA

I walk all time playing (3-4 rounds a month).

I use a push cart about 80% of the time and the other 20%, I use a sunday carry bag. Been looking at an electric push cart. This would be cool. I use a Caddytek push cart.

Tom

Ride 6 months in Gold Canyon AZ,  push Sun Mountain Pathfinder quad wheel 6 months in Potsdam NY. Play 3x per week all year. Gain 10 lbs riding, lose 10 lbs walking. 61 years old. The quad is nice.

Walk if allowed so around 80% of the time.
Clicgear 3.5

Used a Club Car Tempo (https://www.clubcar.com/en-us/our-company/news/club-car-introduces-tempo-walk) at a course in Nashville and fell in love with the idea of a motorized push cart for personal use.
