2021 PNW Region MGS Meet-up

You guys have successfully made me miss being in the Spokane area. I didn't golf hardly at all in college, but the one time I did I played a course south of the city (can't recall the name) that had something like a 600+ yard par 6. Did my memory make this up?

No but I think that course is The Links in Post Falls, ID (just across the state line).  Chris and I played that as our finale round last year and both hit drivers off the deck for our second shots.  I can't recall whether we opted to play that hole from the back tees or not?

I figured out what I was recalling - #5 at Latah Creek. It's not a par 6, but measures 630 from the tips.

We played Hangman Valley (now Latah Creek) last year... but never from the TIPS .  We had it as our day 1 round but they decided to punch the green a week before our trip.  So many great courses around the area.

I'm glad to know there was a name change - I was almost sure "Valley" was in the name somewhere, but Google Maps wasn't helping. It was also ~30 years ago.

Hey everyone. My apologies for being way less present in the forum lately. Life has been crazy lately with the new job and having a little girl on the way this winter. With that said I'm wanting to get out and play with more people and get a chance to meet more of my fellow PNW Spies! So if your looking to play sometime in the Portland/SW Washington/Salem area let me know! I may not always be able to make it but I will do my best to try and be there. Beside, playing and practicing is way more fun when others are with you
